So I murdered Baeloth in Baldur’s Gate 1 because a) I wasn’t going to use him and b) funny. Took the robe of the evil archmagi off his corpse to sell on for a cool 10k gold, now this stupid vendor is all “I don’t accept stolen goods”
His right to property was forfeited when I murdered him!!!
Now I gotta wait until I get to the thieves guild to fence this stupid robe. Ridiculous.
Seems to be the general rule of thumb on GD. There must ever be an argument on either race, gender, left-right wing disagreements, or a merry combination of the aforementioned.
Plus trolls have figured out that it takes only the smallest spark of these topics to set GD ablaze, so half the time I dismiss such threads as being just that. Manufactored chaos.
And in some ways, clever people have to believe in [Elon Musk’s Stark fantasy]. If it’s real, then they’re living in a meritocracy; the world is fundamentally just, Everyone Can Become Rich in America, and all social problems can be solved through visionary engineering and rugged individualism. If it’s a lie, on the other hand–if he only bought his way into his position using the proceeds of a stolen emerald mine worked by stolen labour–then how will you ever become a genius-billionaire-playboy philanthropist with your engineering degree? And worse, if the system is unjust enough to promote someone like that, and if electric cars and underground tunnels and colonising Mars aren’t going to solve the problems that capitalism creates–then don’t you have a moral obligation and practical obligation to change the system?
Yesterday we had Silent Hill like weather conditions. But it was also -3 and everything slowly froze into white nothingness.
This kills me. Every time.
Can’t process this much stupid. It’s so condensed. I can’t.
This is why people pay twice the price for the same product when it’s just packaged a bit nicer. Anything that isn’t just surface level and loud just passes them by.
Somebody else who needs to go to jail (and maybe horny jail too) is She-Ra since she’s chewing everything she shouldn’t be (and occasionally humping poor Mini)
