Pet peeves: The return (Part 2)

You WILL grind borrowed power!
You WILL have your power come from RNG legendaries!
You WILL do these timegated quests!
You WILL fear missing out

And you WILL like it!

One thing I always hated was feeling disadvantaged for not logging on for a while. I enjoyed Legion, but if I could press a button to unmake then I would without any hesitation. Legion and its consequences have been a disaster for the warcraft fanbase.

Thank you for being one of my fellow “Legion was the true downfall of WoW” folks, all the systems they added, all the FOMO, all the bloody grinding. Legion was the first time I actively quit the game it sucked, it introduced what makes the game suck and the story also sucked.

Think I’m going to have to break the no-starting-next-expansion-until-all-classes-are-current-expansion-level rule; really want the moonward stuff on Schade (my midlander) before it gets turned into hunt marks gear.

I think Legion was actually a good expansion but I agree it created a direction that made the game suffer in the long term.
Then again, they also could have gone a different route in the following expansions, so I don’t blame Legion.

Yeah, its pretty gud.

Yeah, it does look good!

My English friend sent me an OMD vinyl last month. Just has to cross the Channel so should be easy, right? Except that stuff goes through customs now where it sat since November 18 before it was released earlier today.

Bloody hell.

so riddle me this

why can’t we just print more money but then don’t tell anyone about it so everyone still believes the money holds the same value because money is made up

what are they gonna do, count every individual bill?

Exactly that

Remember WoD when you could log on 2-3 times a week just to raid and that was okay? Doing so would not necessarily make you fall behind in any way.

WoD had issues. Many issues. That was not one of them.

good luck finding them :sunglasses:

I just ask in the usual artist discords to track down yours

That’s basically what they do :V they spend money into existence and then use tax to destroy it

I rise from my (comfy bed) grave.

I need food. Readymeal it is, but, peeve; finding out that I am now out of delivery range of the nearest Dominoes.
I know they are ludicrously expensive and not worth the cost, but it’s the principle of the thing :weary:

For someone who dislikes built up areas and ‘civilisation’, I sure am guilty of wanting some creature comforts ahah.

Its-a the principle!! :ok_hand:

Yeah because there wasn’t anything else to do.

NGL WoD is literally where I levelled most of my alts to max.

Before that i only had 1 of each class (2 druids though, because my nelf druid was my main on alliance)

There was nothing else to do so–

SL has many flaws but the most you really have to do to not fall behind* (for pve at least, I don’t enjoy pvp to do ranked) is one M+ dungeon and/or two raid days a week - anything more is gravy.

Dailies take a couple of hours and don’t set you back particularly if you skip them, and callings are a once every three days thing.

There’s a ton of stuff to do, but very little you need to do - the only big mechanical problem is that the dungeon finder experience sucks if you’re trying to find an M+ run

*fall behind means missing out on maybe a 1ilvl upgrade

No, there were other things to do. Not a lot, which was a problem, but it did exist. Said stuff however was not linked to your raid performance. There were no conduits or artefact power, no M+, no weekly chests…

And whether or not it sounds weird to say ‘I’d rather have no content than content that interferes with what I want to do’, I did stay subbed throughout WoD, unlike SL.
