Turns out making content that people actually enjoy is hard rather than just making timegated grinds that for sure force players to spend more time, but also kill them slowly inside.

When we move, I’m getting a double bed and then perhaps it can fit all 4 of us on it comfortably.
Done the mage role quest.
Won’t be a role quest for the next job because I’m levelling NIN and I already did the melee one when I did RPR.
So I’ve been sorting out my WoW screenshots throughout the year, and… wow. The game’s aesthetic feels so awkward and alien now that I’ve spent a few months away from it and got used to other games.
WoW’s aesthetic isn’t bad, it’s quite good actually, but playing it for years had desensitized me to its cartoony style and pretty old engine.
In particular, it now feels awkward for me to look at Lintian’s in-game model, because it feels less congruent with my conception of her than I remembered. In fact, That Other MMO let me make a more faithful Lintian model than WoW itself — within the limitations of its setting, of course!
