Patiently waiting for intruders’ bodies to decompose after wisely shooting them on sight.
if the orcs wished to get lumber for their new civilization built in the middle of the desert they could’ve simply gotten it from anywhere other than tyrande “castle doctrine” whisperwind’s forest tbh
Building with wood in the desert isn’t even viable. I guess the barrens is technically a savannah though. Orcs just forgot how to make those neat pottery houses from back on draenor and seemingly went with the least practical options to spite the world.
But then, they are Breakers built to destroy greenery and leave only desert behind.
yes*
*(Because majorkill said so)
Oh ew. Nah, not taking that seriously.

making myself angry looking at house prices again
“One bone broken for every branch crushed underfoot.”
-Llanowar penalty for trespassing
The fact I know the card that was originally on (I think)… Im not sure how to feel about that

This one is also an angry elf favourite of mine
Peeve: Stop giving me Copperbell Mines you worthless bits-for-brains leveling roulette
(It’s so mind-numbingly boring, especially since as a healer I’m basically a two-button DPS, that I’m actually writing this while “fighting” the second boss. I have every ARR dungeon unlocked on this character, but I swear the roulette gives me Copperbell Mines more often than all other dungeons combined.)
A Little Patience from Pandaria was also a big offender.
Over 10k year old warrior-priestess who has been in many a battle has to be told by human king in perhaps his fourties at most that no, just rushing in is not a good idea.
a human king known for just being very ‘lol charge in!1!!11! angry!!’ while at it!
You know, we often made fun of the night elf post that we have been using as a copy-pasta since then but… atleast on the topic of night elves being mistreated they are right.
Now on the HMP-part however… noooo…never.
There’s space for a story like that - the wars Tyrande has been in were pretty much all apocalyptic between the two Legion wars and the War of the Sands.
She should go into combat thinking the way to win is to kill every single enemy, then kill the people who summoned the enemy, and then kill the enemy again for good measure. Anduin can then show how to fight a war against an enemy who can surrender
for me its Satasha.
Did she fight in the War of the Satyr as well? I mean, I would find it strange if she didn’t.
And perhaps so but, even during apocalyptic wars there are times when just rushing in is not a good idea, I am sure even the Legion, the Scourge or the Qiraji sometimes dug in ( in the latters case literally) like the Horde did in the Temple of Hope.
There’s also the countless wars of genocide where the nerves wiped peoples out Maeiv bragged about in that one book*; I think night elves been pretty aggressive as a standard is fair tbh.
Mind you, that’s not a condining of a Little Patience. Varian was trash lol.
*if she is to be believed
Oh, I’m not condoning that specific story (I haven’t read it), just saying there is space for a story like it
Night elves try not to leave survivors
That was not in a book, it was literally in The Frozen Throne when she spoke of it to Vashj.
“Many craven races have tempted our wrath over the centuries. None survived.”
