Tbh, I can understand people’s infatuation with Yoshida, but anyone who’s defending squeenix is either naive or delusional. They are a corpo, like every other and a pretty C tier publisher. 70% of the games they put out are either shovelware quietly released with 0 marketing, rubbish nobody asked for or yet more mobile spinoffs with all the classic ways of siphoning all your money.
The remaining 30% are once-in-a-blue-moon actual decent 1st party releases, talented indies that happened to be published by square and a pile of old IPs the company sits on like a dragon. Even their main franchise, FF, has been very hit or miss.

New year is off to an unironic good start; I have finally updated the music on my phone, so that I have more of my favourites for when driving to and being at work.
Gods I wish I didn’t procrastinate so hard ._.
I actually think 13 was just mid, but the real offender was Lightning Returns.
And that is why idolising any company can be bad.
Hell I used to respect say, Nintendo, but they’re by no means saints and deffo lost a lot of good will since Iwata passed.
