If you have ideas, turn 'em into something when you’ve got the time. My main gripe with a lot of those online forums is that they don’t really have any idea what they want to be aside from “anime ideas guy.”
Doubt you needed me to tell you that, but I’ve found taking a moment to sketch some random idea down to be very fulfilling. There’s no better feeling than being productive for me.

Maybe they were shutdown together with DS3 servers because of that hacking vulnerability?

Though DS2’s system is different to 1, 1 remastered and 3’s according to the thread I posted further up so the hack shouldn’t work on it?

Well… Here I was hoping we’d get something that smoothes the edges of some Mythic paths but the Aeon bros alone will be having fun, maybe some Angels. We shall see since these guys do be hatin’ Chaos, they’ve come to kill it.

Funny thing: I was angry at earlier plot events regarding that character.
Specifically, I was annoyed at being railroaded into being hostile to Iceheart and then being blamed for it.
Talking to Iceheart and asking her to explain herself is not an unreasonable action. It’s something that many players would presumably want to do, as it’s obvious from the start that Ishgard’s presentation of the events is biased and one-sided.
Yet because it’s a linear plot and the writers want the story to go in a preconceived direction, your only option is to fight her and then watch her /em run away. Again and again. Then HW comes and Alphinaud suggests just that — talking to her and learning her side of the story — and everyone acts like he’s some kind of genius for making this fairly obvious suggestion.
Luckily, this was the only instance of such kind of storytelling so far — the game normally avoids making one character act stupid so that another character can look smart in comparison.
I would unironically like an Azeroth/Eorzea crossover, but only if that means the FFXIV writers get to write Azeroth lore, as opposed to the WoW writers writing Eorzea lore.
