Pet peeves: The return (Part 2)

Sometimes it’s a good thing when concept art remains only a concept

I can’t believe there’s no lore that talks about lack of kobold tails on humans. Where’s my justice :fist: :triumph:

Yes, I’m more talking about lore reasons since the curse is related to Goldrinn, who has a tail in the first place.

I mean, it’s closer to ‘ferocious’ that people seem to want. Me included.
But then going on to make silly bad faith arguments after, I can see you’re not here for a discussion on it anyways. Have a nice one.

There’s nothing stopping them from turning around tomorrow and adding tails as a customisation option. There’s no Lorelaw saying “no tails ever”, and even if there was, they could just…change it.

The OG Druids of the Pack (https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/moon-guard/images/1/1a/Ralaar_and_Arvell.png/revision/latest?cb=20150515055206) had tails so it’s not like the druid forms were without them or anything.

In regards to the tail discussion, I think too many people are thinking that wanting tails/tails as an option immediatly equates the “OwO” furry stereotype.

I’m at a middle-ground, because it does feel like something is missing on the worgen, and more options is mostly welcome.

I might clarify that I don’t see an issue with it.

Seems silly. If that’s a… tendency one finds appealing, surely the tail isn’t the deciding factor anyway.

So what I’m hearing is they should remove the tails on Vulpera.

Because they look like they should fall at every step and a tail might counterbalance it into looking less stupid. A correction of the posture would also work but eh, tails would add customisation options so it’d be a win there. (Just an… Actual, wolf looking tail thanks. Not a fox, not a red panda, or anything else.)

I meant it as in the people who are firmly against it seem to think so. Because it’s been a main reason I’ve seen people say as why tails shouldnt be an option. Because furries or something.

Which is silly.

I would argue that the tailless versions of screenshots / images have been quite a bit more ferocious than the 2 concept art instances that pickpawkit linked above, which, whilst cooler than the worgen that we have in-game, have much more of a OwO factor going on. It’s the addition of rlly nice flowing hair, and floofy tail. It’s not a ragged tail you might find on a rabid wolf, y’kno?

Don’t choke on your popcorn.

Touch grass and you might see one hehe.

‘Werewolves do not have tails’

  1. fantastical creature, they can have what they like.

  2. og werewolves DID have tails, and went on all fours. Were WOLVES. The biped Hollywoodisation came later :stuck_out_tongue:

Except how they looked since vanilla and the original art made by Samwise in 2004

Not much in WoW lore talks about how humans don’t have horns sticking out of their knees but that doesn’t mean they are there. I do not think I have seen an official Blizzard depiction of worgen with tails ever.

honestly does it really matter that much if they have tails or not

Tails would be bad, but it could be worse. It could be the 1.0 version.

It doesn’t, hence why they should get the option to have them. Afterall, non-red pandaren can have tails now.

Oh… you’re not supposed to like those? :eyes:

Ironically, the 1.0 version of the female worgen looked considerably more feral than the angry dogs we ended up with. Sort of like the current models really.

Also having seen the first image, I’d love for female worgen to have the option of not having a huge mane of hair.
