Pet peeves: The return (Part 2)

Imagine if WoW had proper character customisation :V

tell me that second image isnā€™t the current model

Thatā€™ll cost you an expansion.

The one on the right? Sure is.

Having said that, adding glowing eyes and a few scars edge things further towards the males in their original, updated version. Greyish fur, amber eyes and such.

Expansion? Nah, future customisation options will be in the in-game store in the form of NFTs.

forget tails, worgen should have options to look like poodles instead

Worgen nobles in Stormwind, ca 2024, colourised.

I think the introduction of the Corgen would be better.

ActiBlizz knows all about dragging things out to make you spend more time on nothing to stay subbed for the tiniest little steps towards stuff+timegating :^)

Unfortunately I actually preffered -both- worgen 1.0/alpha models compared to what we got :weary:

Sadly it is, better than what we originally got but still lacking in so SO many places.
They did fem worgen dirty in regards to character models.

And for the tail arguement, eh, let it be an option but the most rabid and vocal crowd vying for tails Iā€™ve seen have been the furries and I am talking about the ā€œI want to yiffā€ crowd of furries.

I honestly donā€™t see the fuss with tails, theyā€™ve always been depicted without and people are talking about balance and posture but have never stopped to complain about hoofed people being competent sailors. Likeā€¦ excuse me sweaty? :nail_care:t2:

But for real, I like their look without. Itā€™s warcrafts own take on a werewolf trope.

Yep, I really do hate the MMO grind model universally.

Cutscenes at the least progress story still.
Time gating should forever burn in hell though.
Let me rip through the story so I can go and do other things.
Do you know how many books I have to get through?!.. One.

Honestly the cutscenes stop being godawful once you get out of ARR content but the best feeling is I can be ā€œdoneā€ with content for a week and do the fun things instead of being perma on the grind.
Thatā€™s my main thing I love about FF content.

Wish WoW had kept to that model :pensive:

A big part of the werewolf trope is that they dont have tails.

What movie or show have I missed growing up that gave everyone the idea that werewolves have tails?

ā€œThe appearance of a werewolf in its animal form varies from culture to culture, though it is most commonly portrayed as being indistinguishable from ordinary wolves save for the fact that it has no tail (a trait thought characteristic of witches in animal form), is often larger, and retains human eyes and a voice.ā€

I like talking about minute nonsense like this because it reminds me of a time when my issues with WoW were just as small.

It was all to set up the eventual marriage between Lord-Admiral of Kul Tiras Baine Bloodhoof and Jaina Proudmoore-Bloodhoof.

Others have said it before, but I really appreciate that the game respects your time and doesnā€™t* throw meaningless fetch quests and currency grinds at you just to stretch out your playtime.

It has a lot of cutscenes, but they do advance the story.

I started playing in July, yet I havenā€™t even finished MSQ by now, half a year later. Iā€™m still halfway into Shadowbringers. And the only reason I feel any rush at all to finish it is because Iā€™d like to be able to RP without fearing spoilers, and to incorporate latest lore into my RP.

* Mostly. Some solo duties are too packed with trash mobs for my liking, and to make things worse, they just spawn out of thin air like in Dragon Age 2, as if theyā€™re padded to artificially include N minutes of fighting.

that is not politically correct terminology Aerilen and you know it

Shut up hoof boy

I keep trying to revive my poor Harvest Witch, but her so-called feral form is murder on my enthusiasm. :weary:

Iā€™ll level with you. When someone says ā€œwerewolfā€, Iā€™m thinking of full moons and gory slasher killings. Cool bit of trivia regardless.

Where does the seafaring tauren live?

At the corral reef of course.
