Pet peeves: The return (Part 2)

We already have a mobile Warcraft game, it’s called Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, and it’s immensely profitable.

Dunno what they’ll do instead that won’t compete with HS but maybe it’ll be a dating sim where you drop BlizzBucks to go on dates.

Stern mommy Jaina is a given but what are the others?

Some candidates off the top of my head:
Tyrande+Malfurion (polycule), Anduin (twink boyfriend who treats you like a literal queen), Wrathion (dangerous badboy with a heart of gold), Rokara (muscle orc gf from Hearthstone), Valeera (Valeera), Khadgar (silver fox), Lor’themar (daddy), Chen Stormstout (furry), Elune (if she can date Malorne she can date you), Chromie (gnome+dragon in one combo, that’s two for the price of one).

Options open up more if you select specific time periods too, 'cos then you can add Varian, Kael, Arthas, Onyxia, etc. without worrying about them being corpsemode. Sure, Dalaran-era Kael is really into Jaina, but I bet you can swing him back your way…

Don’t want to derail the other thread further than it has been already

do you salt the boiling water?

You can also make a butter sauce as well, hang on, i got a vid;

Did anyone play “Eastern Exorcist”? I like the looks of the game but I’d like to know how the gameplay holds up and the like before I cave.

I heard she’s a real monster ifyouknowwhatimean

(all of her previous partners died in mysterious house fires)

Excellent.

Well, yeah…

I thought we had something special go- Dies

Man, I’ve spent 2 hours putting all the pokemon cards I found into a card folder for the move.

I was silenced for four days not 30 minutes after making a post where I describe a plot point in Twilight, yet a thread with 400+ responses about troublesome in-game behavior and namecalling gets to stay up for 19 hours.

I guess the moderators really do not like Twilight and who can blame them?

I just came back from a four day suspension due to a joke about moons affecting Khajiit forms…

I had a 1 day silence for addressing some Alliance character (not players!) hostile response to the Gathering in the novel.

Typical Alliance bias from the moderators, smh…

Anyway back to my bi-monthly pseudo review of FF14.

Heavensward stuff The final boss of Heavensward (well, I suppose there is more stuff but we're talking about God King Thorden) is just sublime. I have not heard a leitmotif woven into the story with such grandiose expertise since MoP, and if you look at the lyrics they can apply for all three factions at play so it's either a hero song, a villain song or generic battle song. When the big dude begins attacking you so hard that your screen shatters and the male choir kicks in I was giggling like a child despite the fight itself being trivial on account of everyone being overgeared. Then cinematic after begins and I can not believe the high exposure and contrast meme images I made of my character turned out to be some sort of prophecy of things to come.

Afterwards the pacing went out of whack though and I ran into the all too familiar issue that plagues WoW where there is just too much to do but not all of it is gated after each other, like when I’m told to follow a guy and its super urgent but it doesn’t seem to have any bearing to the cutscene of a giant god mech rising out of a lake, in fact no one seems to mention it at all until I spoke to a random goblin which kicked off the whole thing that also involves the guy I was supposed to follow really urgently but they say that “it has been some time, hasn’t it?”

But still a grand expansion. Free, too.

Peeve: Got the last delivery of Warhamer: Mortal Realms.
Realised I was missing the third of three novellas that the sub has come with, and the box stand for them.
Email customer support, they flat out say “Sorry, we don’t got no more of thems” and it’s just… tough.

Thankfully eBay had a book and stand for £18 inc postage, so it’s not a massive deal… still peeve-some, though. Where mah stuff, huh? :slightly_frowning_face:

HW Spoilers.

Summary

What I love about it is how Thordan reacts in the end of the trial. He’s bascailly flailing and is desperate coming to the terms of why his god-like powers have failed him and how puny heroes such as ourselves (Since I think the WoL beat him and his Knights Twelve primals on his/her own) and the last thing is he’s panicing, crying out who, and what we are!

I can’t think of many encounters in WoW, save perhaps for Arthas, where the Boss is frantic with panic in his last throes.

I was too caught up in the moment and had to go back and look at the recording and you’re correct. That’s phenomenal.

I mean I’ve seen some cringe as hell crap over my long, long period time roleplaying.

You guys think it’s bad here, or there?

You lot should have tried MUDs. Oh my G OD. The yawning abyss of quality between good and bad.

anyways I’ll be on night shift today so I might get to see weekend pop! I’m excited.
