Pet peeves: The return (Part 3)

I wouldn’t know about that. She’s the most mature of the League team (though that’s not exactly a high bar to meet), and she was a druid trainer before joining the League if you consider the hero skin canon.

(Insofar as anything in HS can be considered canon…)

ngl if they gave us all races/classes I’d roll either a gnome paladin or a gnome druid

(I’d actually roll all the gnomes and try to get a gnome of all classes max level)

Hasnt it so far basically been “It’s non-canon until its decided canon/makes an appearance in WoW”?

Even though alot of HS lore in arguably better than WoW’s canon.

Whenever somebody says knife ears to an elf, this is what I’m going to think about.

Somebody’s playing Divinity 2’s theme tune in Limsa.

They were playing the tavern song earlier.

EDIT: (on the tavern song) was like; where have I heard that before? Then they started playing the theme and I was then like, “oh”

Faelin is shaped like a Friend

I had the fortune of never having my character called knife ears, but if she was, she’d just react with confusion.

“Really? What about my ears reminds you of knives?”

(That it’s uncreatively appropriated from a different video game setting is a whole peeve on its own.)

Have to go to work which is fine. Being so gosh darned tired I can barely stay awake however is not.

Why can’t I just have a regular sleeping pattern like most people >:(

Stuck between the choices of a job that’s only temporary, but I am guaranteed to get, and a permanent job with far better working hours and pay, but I’m not 100% to get it yet. It’s especially fun because they got timed in a way that I could potentially miss out on both if I’m unlucky.
Pair this up with the fact I’m moving houses soon. Stress levels increasing.

The original Night Elves that Grom encountered slit the orc warrior’s throats with their ears, which is why he thought they were such powerful warriors and where the moniker came from in this universe: Grom invented it, but it was a name inspired by fear and awe, rather than derogatory.

It’s all discussed in a novel. Pinky-swear.

Getting proper internet next Thursday!

Love the mobile hotspot, its been great in a pinch but want to get back to wired internet.

Scholar solo duties are so annoying.

A long and boring dungeon crawl with no-challenge trash mobs, ending with a boss encounter where I’m supposed to heal Alka Zolka, except he’s a crappy tank who loses health faster than I can restore it even if I forgo DPSing the boss entirely, and half my spells only work on party members and he doesn’t count as a party member and he just stands in bad stuff and accumulates vulnerability stacks and argh whyyyy

And of course the game gives no indication that this particular solo duty will fail if he dies, when this was never a problem before. In one previous solo duty I just let him die and then soloed the boss.

WHM solo duties were a breeze in comparison.

Gave Leo a tuna steak, he ate it, now he’s sitting by his bowl wondering where his next one is.

You can’t just tease him with one and not give another!

There isn’t anymore, he ate the mackerel one yesterday and I only bought 2.

The elf one is accurate except the unintuitive UI part. Aesthetics are very important to elves (broadly speaking, as a fantasy archetype).

(Also, I had no idea what HOA was, had to look it up)

Sir Finley certainly is.

He looks like a draenei in that picture.

Home Owners Association

something I have never been in but heard it from Americans.

The entire HS League is canon in the main Warcraft universe. Elise and Reno (and Finley) appear on Mechagon Island and also in Uldum during the invasion.

I just wondered if the Elise hero’s backstory was canon in HS.
