Doing the WotR DLC #2. Get given a quest which is honestly a complete ‘waste of time’ for our overarching goal. One of my companions objects, but I do it anyway.
“Why did we even do this?” He says. Little does he see the “Quest Complete: +1500 experience” notification I received.
Just simply realise you’re in an RPG and that doing banal things for some reason lets you progress to smacking people harder, dummy.

My pet peeve is people writing “Drak’thyr” or “Drakthyr” when it seems rather obvious to me that the name is indeed “Dracthyr” or have I perhaps missed other spellings that Blizzard have put out? If someone could enlighten me that would be neat.

Bear in mind that one of those quest will lead you to a late game area, so if you want to complete them, Rykard will have to wait a while.

Damn, its hard finding a weapon class I like that I’m not already in DS1.
Got characters with;
Halberd (Great Scythe)
Curved Sword (painted Guardian Sword)
Katana (Iaito)
Piercing Sword (Estoc)
Greatsword (The only time I use Moonlight Greatsword in a DS game)
Great Curved Sword (Server)
Straight Sword (Balder Side Sword)
Spear (Dragonslayer Spear)
Dagger (Dark Silver Tracer)
Hard to find a 10th weapon class that I like in this game.
I do it on purpose.
PSA: DPS players, feel free to limit break with impunity during the first phase of the Ultima Weapon trial, because the gauge will be reset to empty after the cutscene anyway.
