For some reason my battle.net launcher forgot I had games installed, and set all of my ingame settings to the suggested default rather than what I had meticulously chosen. Not even sure what happened to spur this on either.
Itâs absurdly quick - I went from 1-80 and then 60-80 in a second covenant in a few days
(if you have hit 80 on your account, you can buy an heirloom that sets you to renown 60 and unlocks all conduits from a vendor next to the Oribos flight master)
Apparently with the boost to 60 for alts you now reach renown 80 before you hit level 60. Canât complain. Imo timegating like this should just go away once the content has moved past it (and not two patches later).
Thereâs a lot heavier reliance on âwell WoWhead can steer players that way so we donât need toâ that I noticed - I never would have noticed the heirloom vendor if I hadnât gone searching for how to get renown on alts or secondary covenants
Used to be renown 40 but itâs renowm 60 as per 9.2.5, which is nice.
You also get 1000 anima plus that covenantâs mount. So you could, if you wish to spend the gold, get 4 of those heirloom marks, join the other 3 covenants for 1000 anima and their mounts and then join your target covenant to use your final heirloom mark. Thatâs 2000 gold for 4000 anima.
Related to the talk surrounding Dragonflight, I am beginning to seriously despise the terms âcopiumâ and âhopiumâ when anyone tries to justify why theyâre gonna play in DF. It is not a shameful thing if you look forward to a game! You should not need to make excuses to give someone else who has a chip on their shoulder!
