Aw gods-damnit.
Usually both not understanding problems of younger generations and being generally against change, right? Atleast, that is what I always understood boomer meant when it was about the state of mind, and not literally a generation spanning from x to y year.

Gone are the days of .txt gamefaqs pages that might not always be 100% correct but at least you knew the writer came from a place of love, rather than monetisation

It has helped me a lot in finding things I want in Soulsborne games.
Extra helpful on Elden Ring with helping me get around the map.

It’s a lot worse for CRPGs because it’s a more niche genre - it means that any time you google a quest you get an empty wiki page as your top 5 results.
That and the main competition is Neoseeker, whose primary contributor is a guy I’m pretty sure has some kind of bomb collar that will go off if he isn’t an abrasive tryhard to at least two people a day

I’d like to think that not everybody on that site are Gamers™ and I’d like to think that its not the same 5 people in every thread (a lot of the posters are anonymous, so can’t link comments back to accounts)
Basically, chill, open people are mostly in the male character threads and the incel katana-wielding Gamers™ are mostly in the female threads.
Then there’s the 3rd group of; “don’t care about the character, just need to know where they at so I can finish their damn quest”

New RWBY anime seems to have some pretty sick animation going on, no idea if the story will be improved at all but might be worth the time just for visual spectacle alone.
But the real question is when will Kusuriya no Hitorigoto get an anime adaptation…
