Pet peeves: The return (Part 3)

True yeah.

I’ll admit, maybe I’m biased and having a soft spot for Blackwall. Don’t know what it is, but he triggers the “I can fix him” mentality in me. Even more than Fenris.

look, listen.

hes a dwarf. from his perspective down below everything probably does look bigger in his minds eye on a human

Blackwall is a Bad Man. It’s not like Loghain, whose terrible misdeeds had some kind of noble backing. Thom Rainier was a murderer for coin.

Even the Inquisition bringing him into their custody is a miscarriage of justice – your advisors and Blackwall himself are very clear about that. Of course, I brought him back because Orlais is stinky and I wanted to publicly slate him myself. My elf-quisitor was like that.

sticking it to orlais is always morally correct

I normally give him to the wardens after the end. Infact my average judgement sessions goes like this:

Alexius-Execution.
Florianne-Make her Jester.
Erimond-Tranquil.
Ruth-Exile to Deep Roads.
Samson-Give to Dagna.
Rainer-Give to Wardens.
Movran-Exile to Tevinter.
Dedrick-Either Wardens or Ferelden.
Servis-Smuggler recruitment.
Poullin-Forced Labour.
Storvacker-Recruit as agent.

Varric, narrating: and Hawke’s sister…had massive honking bazonkas. Just absolutely massive hooters, Seeker.

Cassandra, exasperated: is this really a necessary detail

That’s the extremely evil choice. If you’re pro-mage it also makes you a hypocrite . . .

Varric: Just wait for the plot twist when Isabela turns up and her bazoongas are even more honking donking mahoosive bawunga dungas.

I know it’s evil and also very hypocritical, but I can’t stand his character and it’s the only one that geniuenly freaks him out and makes him scared.

I’m fully aware it’s a bad choice though.

He can’t badmouth Isabela, she knows where he lives

Speaking of Isabela, I saw this earlier and wanted to share because it’s nice.

I saw a lot of fan art on reddit of a Hawke, Merril and Isabella throuple. Hawke also also being female.

That’s unsettling, since Isabela takes on a very sisterly and protective role over Merrill. It’s kinda noncy honestly.

Meh, big sister friend to lover trope is decently popular

I remembered that the dragons are going to be mail wearers and I have approximately 0 mail transmog… guess who’s gonna farm a bunch of clothes?

Still preferable to the people asking to romance Bethany.

In the Isabela/Merrill case it’s explicitly platonic!! Also Isabela definitely doesn’t like shy subs.

You know what they say, incest is…

I can see it as Isabela and Merrill being metamours rather than it being a throuple as such, for sure

Metamours who hang out and do pal stuff when Hawke is off doing their thing
