I’ve found this really nice trick where I just complain about not being able to find/do something to a friend of mine who seems to have magical problem solving powers. Doesn’t even need to answer for me to suddenly find/finish stuff.
Finished Last of Us. That was a very bittersweet ending. Ultimately I’m glad that I pushed myself to play it, because it ended up being really good.
I’ll play through the DLC next and then might take a break before playing Part 2

A break is wise - 2 is Heavy for a lot of its playthrough
The ending of the first one hit like a truck. I wasn’t expecting it to end anything like it did. I finished it just before midnight and then had to go and try to get some sleep, which was impossible.
Joel never seemed like a great morale person, but good lord.

Unfortunately I already know the big twist because it was plastered all over the internet by angry gamers. Which is a shame because I would really like to experience it fresh.
But yeah a break might be advisable. Might finish Outer Wilds.
In other news, this time next week my wife will be away with the kids so I can do whatever I want (within reason). Time to catch up on FF14 and Warhammer 3.

I got red Mage to 90 the other day and have been delighting in how Extra the ability is - I didn’t think they could top VerFlare for extra but the madlads managed it
