the half hour of questing I managed to get done before work was pretty good and the zones are very pretty but if it has any really structural problems we probably won’t know until we’re a few weeks in

quest offer no gear until after you get into the islands proper

I did get a cool toy which casts polymorph on yourself but it has a 30min cooldown, might be useful in roleplay? but blizzard continues to nerf fun.

Is alright, lot of talking and filler "kill 10 x or collect 15 y) quests if you want to do them.
nothing amaze balls, but I only did the very early content and spend a lot of time exploring the early area for rares and loot.

Feels like an intern was in charge of the intro questline, but it could also just be a new design choice, I am to early to conclude which.
