Pet peeves: The return (Part 4)

He is a head shorter last I saw him. :sunglasses:

I am now broke in ESO, but I have the Amaya Lake Lodge in Vvardenfell so I’m all good :sunglasses:

So you own a big empty house now?

No, I own a big empty house.
Aldru is a penniless tenant.

Hey it’s not all empty, I did place down one of my 6 Sixth House Ritual Tables!

You can live in the storage room you bum

I upset Leo.

Thunder storm, so I grabbed him and dragged him under the quilt pretending to be scared. He wasn’t bothered, he was just giving me a wtf face. But he was enjoying the cuddle regardless.

I get up and he tries to get me to go back to bed for more cuddles

Go back and snuggle that cat right now.

My lawful evil toon here is highly offended.

(I’m not though, ACAB)

No, I need to go to the far supermarket.

I can’t spend all day cuddling the cat.

Indeed. I take the term “role playing” literally: I’m playing a role, not a fantasy version of myself. It’s fun. Come on, come to the dark side…

You did what?!
That is absurd, lunacy, have you minced your meat Darbakh?!

I minced it, spiced it, and put in the oven already.

Then you tossed a terrible salad.
I mean how can you even cook that?

I have money still!

And? I will have money again when more stuff sells

Dang right, I’m certainly not a 47 year-old witch with grandiose delusions of importance. There’s an age difference.

I took the crossbow when the game dumped starter weapons on me. Wanted to use a rapier, but it looks like my character isn’t proficient in martial weapons and I think crossbow was the only simple one. It was kind of demoralizing to see her do 1-4 damage when she’s not missing attacks, while the black paladin (fighter?) lady does 8-12.

I did take this as my starter feat, which is why I guess my damage is so low, since it scales off str that I have at 10.

The mongrels that I met in the first cave both had this, but it feels kinda counterintuitive, since if they shoot point-blank they get hit by attacks of opportunity. Is there something that counters it or you just need to stay a few paces away and neither right in enemy’s face, not at max distance?

Here’s my character stats:

Thanks for the guidance btw. The game goes slow with the amount of reading and getting used to all the mechanics, but it’s interesting so far.

it’s the same in kingmaker for me

my main character is a feyspeaker with middling spells, i’m lucky if he’s ever useful in any fight, meanwhile ekundayo is casually doing 200 damage per round

i already had to respec once and now at the very least my main character can throw some more useful spells around, but it was big pain when there’s one fight where only one character can fight an enemy (frick soul devourers or whoever) and main character was a useless wimp there

anyway for wotr i don’t know what to pick either, how important are the deities? only nethys seems to favour quarterstaffs (and there’s none for spears??), i can’t even be a traditional caster with a staff AAAA (as nethys seems like…idk, warlock-y vibe?)

ANYWAY ANYWAY ALERT, Eurovision is starting in t-minus 5 minutes!!!
