Hoping the stuff later on looks better. The armour is fairly mediocre so far too. Nothing great but nothing bad. 
Admittedly i am having a lot of fun with the lightning spam build. What’s going on when i press unstable currents? I don’t know, i can’t make anything out at all, but everything is either dying or stun locked.

I don’t even like the sorc stuff in the store either.
I have a ranged lightning build with the hydra pet as my only fire damage. Its fun.
Just saw a kitty in Kyovashad and am now sad I can’t pet them.
I also get sad when I see a kitty in V Rising and I can’t pet them in that game either!
I had hydra thinking the enchantment of frost nova would be good CC. Turns out with lightning spear and unstable currents then everything rapidly becomes either frozen solid or stunned.
Captain Crowd Control (do NOT ask me to dps when unstable currents is on CD).
I play Lightning mage very much as; “What do you mean you don’t want more AoE?”

Fire feels like it’s a lot more dps but it’s a lot of kiting and dots. Doesn’t feel as cathartic as playing a haywire and incredibly high voltage electrical cabinet.

I only have the hydra because I had a hydra build back in D3.
Finding out I can’t change its element here was sad though.
Don’t level necro… Run you fool, save yourself.
I’ve gone with a hybrid build because otherwise that is just. pain. on some bosses.

Some are genuinely a ballache, i’ve generated a personal feud with those dumb homing bolts that dump the vulnerable debuff on you.

Wife gifted me diablo 4 and I have to say it is the most competent game blizz made since overwatch 1. You can clearly see the attention to detail and genuine love put in by the devs and my only complaints so far are insignificant nitpics and some easily fixed qol changes (like letting you set up talent loadouts). Currently running as pure werewolf druid.
Which is all the more upsetting that the game has a cash shop, is always online and has multiple simp passes. I am filled with dread from guessing when will blizz do the blizz thing of screwing the game up with further monetization and gameplay changes in the name of endless life service milking.
For anyone considering it, depending on your tolerance of game’s monetization, I recommend it whenever it is discounted to €60 or less.
