Pet peeves: The return (Part 4)

The fouler British food looks the better it tastes.

I need an example.

Beans on toast?

Chip buttee, fish finger sandwhich, yorkshire puddings with a roast, toad in the hole.

Heck, Porridge?

Objection: It does not look foul.

As an aside, apparently Larian says BG3 runs really well on Steam Deck so might pick it up later. Will see some early reviews from users though first to see if their claims are correct.

I don’t think the British should be allowed to invent new foods any more.

They should also stop naming them.

What the frick is a Worshsehschishhre sauce anyway

reminds me of people always freaking out over raw, minced pork on a bun when they visit Germany and encounter it

(also the bird)

But yeah, tofu has texture issues.

Same goes for northern Germany tbh
If it looks like someone else chewed it before you and spat it out again it’s probably pretty good

This random reviewer I know nothing about is apparently pretty pleased with the game. Reddit said he does good reviews? Idk.

Mint sauce

His reviews are pretty good, yeah. I don’t actively follow him but I think he’s one of the good ones. My go to reviewers are generally EasyAllies and SkillUp.

He’s not like the other game reviewers? :nail_care:

which sauce is your favourite on a bacon butty. red or brown

I prefer brown sauce for most things, but especially with bacon

I would pretty much always choose brown sauce over ketchup, on anything.

I didn’t want to quote Eton Mess because Eton  but it is also an ā€˜iconic’ British food that is not beige/brown/orange.

trifle also fits the bill and is really delicious despite being associated with old people
