I want to be optimistic because DA is legitimately one of my favorite settings and game series.

But with how long it’s been and the extreme struggles behind the scenes in it’s creation, I have sort of resigned myself to that it might not actually see the light of a and if it does, it won’t be as I had hoped.

I’m not a fan of them moving away further from the rpg system of the past settings. And at this point, almost everyone involved in the past DA games par from voice actors and and a handful of artists, have left the project or Bioware entirely. Many noticeable people during DA4’s production with it very specifically being a sore topic with its direction.

Also the last couple of times a game took nearly a decade to make it wasn’t good. (Duke Nukem Forever, Shenmue 3 as some examples).

On the plus side, DA2 might no longer be the “bad” one of the franchise, which will be weird.

Brioche buns are my go-to for eating in a LARP field because worst case scenario even a brioche bun on its own is pretty good which is more than I can say for plain bread

I can just munch on any kind of bread roll/bun tbh, especially if it’s been buttered. Not sliced bread, though.

I’ve only known her for like 15 minutes. Love at first sight, perhaps.

I’m enjoying the game so far but it really doesn’t run that well on Steam Deck, and the character hair looks really bad. Like the darkest black I chose still looks grey and sort of translucent and just straight up looks silver in the character portrait.
