Denathrius dissolving when defeated like any old dreadlord instead of collapsing into his robot form makes me think the whole “actually, they’re robots” thing came about halfway through the expansion around the same time the stonewright was retconned.

I made some good progress today with my hunter’s overall concept. I’ll let the dust settle with Dragonflight’s launch and then go in swinging with a guild and campaign concept.
I keep reading it as “Dragonblight”
Why did they pick a name that’s this close to something they already have? To taunt me?
Also I want to do more things with my rogue

been trying to set up a levelling plan for DF as ill be doing it with a friend. ill be aiming for a few ill level fairly early on and narrowed it down to either my evoker, warlock, hunter, paladin or shaman first.

Settle on a warrior or a warlock.
Buy the expac some days or weeks after launch, if I don’t hear something that would sway me against it.
Get through evoker starting zone. Stick with it if I find the class compelling enough.
Otherwise go with aforementioned warrior or warlock.
Go through the leveling experience and see what it’s like.
Check out the endgame.
Need no more alts.
Quit by January regardless of my impressions of DF because new ffxiv patch will be out.
You can also just go to the Legerdemain Lounge and ask for a Dala HS.

Currently thinking Jenit then Warlock then either Hunter Priest or Mage. Eventually I’d like to get all Gnomes to max level if I stick with Dragonflight but thats a longer term project and I won’t be playing all of them actively.

7 hours later, it perhaps should be stated that you can make only 1 DK without having a level 55 character for the purposes of getting the mount and you have to make do with being dumped on Mirage Raceway.
I actually tried to remake on a lowpop realm and it would not allow me.
