I had to grind 80 marks (“had to”) for the weapons from that nelf set.
Comp stomp makes it easier and you get plenty honour.

I wanted an interesting node in a ruined city that my eberron party is exploring, so I came up with the idea of a small ruined temple to a trickster Saint that still has a challenge around: a magical knight construct that the players could challenge for the opportunity to loot its chest of magic items.
The options for a challenge are a riddle, a fight, or a game of chance: drawing from the deck of minor things.
The kobold party member went first, and drew a card which shifted his alignment one step towards neutral - which ended up going from NG to TN.
The magical knight construct then drew a card and got…
You gain the service of a 1st-level bard who appears in a space you choose within 30 feet of you. The bard is of the same race as you and serves your hype man until death, believing that you’re totally awesome. Your DM controls this character, who will typically announce your presence wherever you go.
So now this magical construct which is far dumber than an AI has an equally magical construct Adoring Fan that’s just going to stand there cheering and talking about how awesome he is forever, in the middle of a dead city, in the middle of a dead wasteland, miles and miles and miles away from any sort of active civilisation.
Neither of them are people!!
Honestly I was really hoping the party would draw that card so I could annoy their attempts at stealth forever going forwards but this is also pretty funny.

I got the ‘undo any event as though it never happened’ from the deck I got in Tomb and sadly got banned from instantly ending the plot so quickly that I never actually used it

Maybe one day we’ll get Nelf Paladins and I’ll reroll wifey to that (mainly because I enjoy paladin way more than I enjoy warrior)

A certain nelf paladin should appear next patch again. I hold hope.
KT paladin came up with the new tyr content, so it seems like they’re gearing up for it - the main classes yet to be added for people to play are the ones that need a bit of work in modelling for each ancestry choice - paladins, druids and shaman

Pretty sure that doesn’t end the plot, it just creates a whole new one for you to deal with.
