So a Larian writer who apparently did a bunch of work on Astarion put some of their thoughts on discord about Astarion’s ‘ascendant’ ending and romance, and how ultimately it ends up reducing both sides in their mind to sexual objects rather than any healthy relationship (duh)

Speaking of BG3, why doesn’t Tyr object to devils taking the form of his paladins, down to actually using paladin powers? is he stupid?

A) Yes he is
B) He probably does object, be he can’t do any direct smiting because Ao (and all the other gods) would get mad if he did, so he’s reliant on mortal intervention to sort it out. Presumably the paladin powers were granted by Zariel, or Asmodeus, or just the power of their pact.

If they’d kept on and not been smushed within a day by Karlach and Friends then it’s probably the sort of thing he’d be sending (cryptic) visions about to local clerics and saying “oi, go sort this”
