Babes.
Or buh-buh-zuh as we in my circle often say it.

Ain’t my fault FR elves are written as fundamentally fickle libertines. Jaheira is Neutral, though and presumably just doesn’t give a single heck.

I like BG3 Jaheira so much more than BG2 Jaheira. Idk if it’s my age or hers but hanging with sassy druid lady is fun now.

She has mellowed out a little bit in her old age. Not much, but a little bit.

She and Minsc (and Boo) make me happy.

I always liked the sass, though. It’ll be fun to actually play the game some day and not just laugh at dark urge incidents on youtube.

Always Dark Urge incidents.

Every time.

Trying to work out what other game has used the term “Dear one” menacingly before.

I am drawing a blank.

It’s either coming out of witch grandmas or dommy-mommies.

Straddle the line, be witch-mommy.

I seriously cannot help, though as I too draw a whole deck of blanks. Truly peeveworthy.

dragging myself out of my coma to see the BG3 brainrots real in here. beautiful. immaculate.

dragged myself away from my halfling bard run to finish the new guild wars expansion. loved it. hated it. cried over it.

Well it does come bundled with an exquisite array of waifus and husbandos.

Speaking of which, what’s everyone’s favourite and why?

I think the one I’m thinking of is also male?

BG3 spoiler

Could really just be confusing it with the Priest of the Maiden of Pain (Lovitar? Is that her name?) in BG3 who calls you it, which is what triggered the memory.

But there is deffo another game out there that has done it before and I’m just drawing a blank.

EDIT: I know all the elves call you it in DoS2, but none of them are what I’m thinking of.

You know…

Shadowlands was often called WoD 2.0, but for all of WoD’s flaws, we at least know about much of the cut content and can piece together at least some of the story that could have been instead of the incoherent mess we got.

Shadowlands was so barebones and corner-cutting that it didn’t even have cut content to speak of, so while its plans were obviously changed during development, we can only speculate if the story as originally planned actually made some sense or if they were winging it the whole way through, hoping to somehow neatly tie it up by the final patch (and they didn’t).

BG3 has morphed “petal” into an insult at some point

I dragged myself out of BG3 to force myself to draw
had to update my tablet driver because old one didn’t like the latest windows update

The answer is very obvious as has been the case for a while, they have the first patch fully finalized and some of the second major patch, rest is fairly vaguely outlined. Iirc Metzen or one of the other old guards mentioned it in an old interview somewhere.

The main problem is just the current team has had no QA in terms of story or decency and as such the story, pacing, plot and all just suffers.
