Pet peeves: The return (Part 5)

I remember you, you quite stood out from the crowd!

Yet another reason Brexit was a mistake :stuck_out_tongue:

I love that blood elf and her animations. They also made a pretty cool video about a paladin vs a rogue.

Everyone loves their cats!

That’s a tough one. From the first three movies, I’d say Rexy. From World and onward… I’m gonna put my money on the Scorpios Rex. Good god that was a scary mf’er, even if he was only in the animated show for a younger audience.

For those who don’t know: The actual first hybrid before even Indominus, but considered dangerously volatile due to the fact it essentially had multiple personality disorder. Told to get rid of it, but Henry Wu being Henry Wu instead froze it in in cryostasis.
Then accidentally freed by the kids, and we learn that this guy also has an extremely dangerous toxin it can spread by hitting you with tailspikes, -and- if left unchecked, he can reproduce a-sexually.

Not being funny, most of them can.

I know, but it’s different when it’s -that- guy.

The biologists not knowing about parthinogenesis is kind of wild, really

Eh, it’s a recurring theme in both the movies and the book that the scientists really didn’t think things through as much as they should have, no doubt also pressured by John “Spared no expense except on my personnel and cybersecurity.” Hammond.

They thought the problem was solved by having them all be females, yet some of the dna they added was from animals, like some sea horses, where the female can just be like “Fine I’ll do it myself” and become male.

I get all my biology lessons from playing Parasite Eve.

It was okay.
Part of me feels like it should have been about 15 minutes longer.

Yeah I didn’t hate it as much as people seem to do. It was alright.

Ragnarok was a much better movie though and I still love going back and watching it.

I liked Thor: The Dark World

In October 2021, I got covid.
In october 2022, I got covid.
Hey guess what, I got it this year, too!

Anyway I’m ill again and Suffering what feels just like covid but probably isn’t but is enough to whine about.

I haven’t seen one (1) MCU movie yet, therefore I am –

actually nevermind, I think I saw Homecoming on some dodgy site once. It was fun.

I’d watch the Captain America movies and end it with Civil War just to keep clinging on to Stucky. Dare I say, the corporations won and Stucky is no longer as popular as it used to be though. :pensive: :fist:

Endgame is NOT canon!!! :no_good_man: :no_good_woman: :no_good_man: :no_good_woman: :no_good_man: :no_good_woman: :no_good_man: :no_good_woman:

I’m glad! I can’t remember everyone, given the nature of the culture in which was RPed in, but I also had a lot of fun and generally I can remember people if they describe their characters a little.

I’m good friends with the organizer, and told him there was praise for what he organized on the WoW forums of all places. So I think this made his day.

I’m coming back to FF RP soon, once I wrap up my WoW character’s Dragonflight arc. I would be interested in his future events, perhaps helping with organizing them if needed.

As a comic reader Stucky is not for me
But everyone agrees on Endgame being not canon :handshake: it’s the one thing that we all hold hands over

Bri’ish politics are having a wild time this week. After the Supreme Court ruled that, no, sending asylum seekers to Rwanda and banning them from the UK isn’t legal, the Tories are trying to force through legislation anyway (this won’t work). Then, a number of Labour frontbenchers are quitting because Sir Keith won’t call for a ceasefire in Gaza.

Sometimes I wonder what would happen if you mentioned Edmun Burke, Father of Conservatism, to a Tory, and I wonder how horrified their expression would be if you told them that Burke still believed in progress above all but at a measured pace with scientific backing.

My running theory at the moment is that they would descend into an illusory world completely separate from reality.

I think that they’d claim that that’s what they believe in too, deliberately ignorant to the reality of it. So, when it comes to

they’re already there.
