Pet peeves: The return (Part 5)

And then there’s me who hasn’t got a warrior to 70 yet because I really do not vibe with them.

Oh, I said nothing about having hit 70 yet :stuck_out_tongue:
My Vulpera is the closest at 61. It’s still a lot of fun, though. Moreso than… whatever the mess they made MM Hunter is, good grief -_-

Edit: In fact, this I think leads into a subconcious Peeve I’ve carried all the way from the sunsetting of City of Heroes;

WoW’s attack animations are Bad. They just about pass muster on a bunch of classes, but it’s super noticeable on ‘All the animations are the same, or sped up’ MM, or a lot of the melee classes feeling like they’re swinging nerf weapons.

You absolutely could make animations, variants of them even, for various bow or crossbow or gun attacks. But because WoW has not attack rooting for a lot of them, i.e. they can be cast/used on the move, there’s no damn weight to any of them!

It’s noticeable on Kaytlinne; she’s supposed to be quite a strong gal, moreso than her slightly wiry in-game model would suggest, but the majority of animations are STILL like she’s swinging a nerf/foam hammer around. It Peeves the HELL outta me -_-

I dunno, I like MM as a super casual player.

I must be doing something wrong. Or the ‘Lone Wolf’ talent should be a LOT further down the tree, i.e. end-game placement. 'Cos it just does not seem viable at level 51?

I hated the changes to Beast Mastery ever since WoD (maybe Legion) happened and it only got worse from then. Bestial Wrath > Readiness > Bestial Wrath was a very fun opener.

Now you have things like Barbed Shot, MM has Rapid Fire (yuck) and past-ranged Survival spells are carried over (eugh) to the other specs.

I’m pretty happy I swapped away from Hunter to Druid in WoD, saved myself a ton of trouble and ended up with much better RP as a result as well. rip TCG :pensive: :fist:

I don’t even take it, took something else that wasn’t chim shot.

See, I loved Legion Survival. My Nelf was a melee blender with a very grumpy owl. Fantastic.
Then they changed it, and I had to make her MM, as I hated it in BFA.

Now she’s BM and has a Saber and Owl shredding things, and it actually works very well. My Mag’har Hunter is Survival, and that suits her a lot better.
It’s just my MM Goblin who’s struggling. I need to find a pet I don’t hate and see if turning Lone Wolf off makes it salvageable.

Same.

Hunter!Lintian is MM and is actually my PvE main, and I like the gameplay a lot. It does feel like my abilities pack a punch in a way that I don’t feel from, say, arcane mage or balance druid.

(She was BM in WoD when I created her, but I switched to MM in Legion for the artifact’s quiver and never looked back.)

What do you mean, slamming a Full Moon or a barrage of Starsurges does not pack a punch? (I’m maining Feral, so I cannot really say - I assumed those were the hard hitting abilities.)

Anyway, BM right now is what my Huntress is. The worst part is that at some point they changed Pet Classes again, so previously Spirit Beasts are no longer great in PvE. :sob:

I guess that’s fine RP-wise, I can just have the second pet summon be her old dead saber’s spirit and her old owl spirit represented through the Sentinel’s Companion pet.

Three beasts, yay! (Although, I don’t even know what the lore even is right now regarding Spirit Beasts, I remember being told it’s lorebreaking during Mists of Pandaria. :upside_down_face: )

I can’t think of a single spec that has genuinely improved over the past 4 expansions.

Most of the specs peaked in late MoP and WoD.

They are okay with the extra defensive.

Human female twohanded melee is a sin.

You just say that because you keep confusing cleaving with cleavage. :triumph:

Obviously personal opinion here but I think disc priest as it currently is feels really good. I’m a little sad to see Light’s Wrath leave again, but Ultimate Penitence feels really fun.

I’ll have you know that dual-weilding bludgeons is incredibly effective.

Put a twohanded maul in your typical HFP’s dauntless hands and you’ll see them lightly bop Evil on the nose with it, though.

Welp… this is going to be a great start to the new year.

What’s up?

Summary

I think its Leo’s time to say goodbye, he’s not doing so well.
