My favorite part was reading the bit where they said NE wisps/souls were specifically rich in anima, which cemented the fact that NE’s racial trait was that they died really well.

It’s more that a life lived full of experiences enriches anima, night elf souls somehow being more valuable than other long lived creatures.

Which raises the question as to why interdimensional soul hunters aren’t hunting them to extinction for profit.

I picture something like a 1700’s french fur trapper with the face of a six eyed pug waiting in the brush with an alien rifle while a nelf family plays in a glade.

It did not. It ended with me hiding in shadowmeld like a coward until I saw my opportunity to hearth safely back to Astranaar and log off.
