Wondered who on earth the #23 people were since I didn’t recall ever reading about them.

My friend who reads much more fanfic than me informs me that they’re two characters who may or may not have ever actually been mentioned by name in the movies/books.

Of course.

I know this isn’t really the thread, but do y’all reckon Demon Hunters see reflections in mirrors? Or, even more complex, can a Demon Hunter use a microscope to look at something, or take a picture with a camera? Use binoculars?

Official Blizzard lore is that Demon Hunters can tune their Spectral Sight in many ways and even see as a normal person, but with no actual eyeball/retina would reflection technology even work?

I decided to check out Granblue Fantasy’s anime adaptation. I refuse to play the gacha, but I like how the characters are stylised vs. the backgrounds. Gives me FF Tactics vibes, which I assume is related to the artist(s) for the game.

Seems neat though. Neat enough to probably hold my attention in between Dungeon Meshi, Frieren, and Kusuriya.

I have a headache.

Signed on for a ‘higher’ level (11+) play by post game and might get the chance to deploy my Starlight☆Duelist build (Swords Bard 6->Swashbuckler Rogue 3->Swords Bard +8->Rogue+3.

Its a jack of most trades.

Interesting trait of the wrist piece of the Wastewander Tracker set.

Depending on the gloves that your character is wearing, it can project a spiked band of metal on top of those gloves, over the knuckles. I haven’t yet found any cool combinations, but I’m sure someone will be able to create some great tmogs thanks to this feature.

ok but why are there like actual real people on here being shipped together

wtf

cant we don’t

Yeah, that’s gross.

Shipping real people is weird & gross, but also important to remembe that on AO3 the “&” symbol is used in predominantly a platonic/friendship manner while the “/” is absolutely the gross way.

Eitherway just… don’t ship real people doubly so if they’re minors.

How about the source?

[Niche/Warhammer 40k TT peeve]

I sit here, trying to make a simple 1000pts Space Marine list in 10th Edition 40k, and I am dying inside.

Every. Single. Unit. Has its own super special rule/ability to consider. There’s Detachments to fit into; the ‘Vanilla’ one if Meh but has good Enhancements (Commander upgrades). The Firestorm Detachment is really good/flavourful, but the Enhancements are a bit of a let down.
You cannot mix and match.

Trying to get units to fit into 1000pts is harder than ever, because after nine FREAKING editions of the game they suddenly decided “Hey, lets do away with all granularity, all units now have ONE points cost, REGARDLESS of what options they take!” Because apparently they think the playerbase is Stupid™ and cannot do simple maths, I guess? I dunno. They had the Power Level system for the past two editions which solved that, but of course they canned that.

They also brought back Command Squads after two freaking editions without them, only they’re not really Command Squads; they have to have Captain or LT attached, so no, you cannot have Chaplains or Librarians, screw you. They also do not have options; you will have this one Hybrid And Kind Of Terrible build and you will deal with it. They also don’t have an Apothecary. Nor can you attach one. Because LOL. LMAO. You absolute buffoon.

Weapons profiles are a mess. They’re now per unit, rather than one unified chart. Multiple weapons with the same name now have different profiles. I hate this

I’m just going to have to wait for the Ork Codex in Spring. And pray to Gork and Mork that it puts me out of my 40k misery, 'cos otherwise I’m just going to shelve 40k until they un-screw it, and play Historicals instead (Bolt Action is so much fun. Then again it was written by Rick Priestley and Allesio Cavatore, two of the Old Gods of Games Workshop, so that figures)

Incidentally, while I still haven’t played BG3, the name Astarion just cracks me up in how placeholdery it feels. It feels like a name for a throwaway NPC improvised on the spot by a DM thinking, “I need a male elven name, quick!”

(I’m totally not just saying this because I had a one-shot Sentinel NPC named Astarien in an RP event four years ago)

The lots of the names in the game seem to be inspired by “GM needs a name”-panic naming.
I mean… Shadowheart? Will… with a y??

It has a very specific flavour.
