There seems to be a funny pattern of Alpha’s always containing the seemingly more interesting storylines.
This, Baine and fighting alliance after Taurajo,

Pouring one out for High Elves + Velves vs Belves in Quel’Thalas and the Dwarves vs Tauren in Barrens warfronts as well you were killed so fast that the only post-alpha remnants are music files and concept art.
The quests that give you the weapons (so all the scenario quests) only gave my rogue 2 levels.
This has got me all like-- who else should i reroll?
But i should perhaps get some of my current roster to max before i go rerolling other 50s.
Goblin shaman.
Thrall might’ve lost contact with the elements, but he doesn’t know the Art of the Deal.
Not roll, reroll, I do not have a goblin shaman and I have 60 characters already (59 if we don’t count the panda i’m deleting)
Okay 58, rerolling my dwarf paladin into an earthen paladin later.
Depends. Alphas also tend to contain stupid plot developments, like Spiritwalker Ebonhorn being Wrathion. (Then they realized it made no sense, and created Ebyssian.)
If anything, it once again points to lack of planning. Oh no we made a lore whoopsie, let’s quickly make something up. Stuff like an important character’s secret identity should be carefully thought out in advance, not changed on a whim during development.
I feel like all of this could be fixed fairly easily if they actually did some story-boarding and planning of their plot first, before they developed the game.
You know, exactly what they tended to brag about doing (The whole “Each expansion is planned years in advance”).
in the end vol’jin had to die so we could get the cool storyline in BfA where Thrall travelled Zandalar with the urn
Decided I’m going to start referring to poker as a children’s card game like it’s yu-gi-oh.
“Okay, so we can’t use Wrathion how we planned for our Legion expansion, so how will we use him?”
“Who?”
“Wrathion.”
“Who?”
“The Black Prince?”
“Not ringing any bells.”
“Ah yeah, you’re right, don’t know who I was talking about either. Ship it.”
Then they did the same thing to Wrathion in DF a second time, but this time by also ruining Ebonhorn at the same time. Thank you Blizzard, very cool!
there is no non-human and non-elven cultural identity in ba-sing-se
if i can be honest whats wearing me out with war within already is the same thing i know will fatigue me in dawntrail.
i love the horde races, wow is one of the few mmos that lets you play genuinely fantastical and inhuman races like trolls, tauren and goblins. every race thats ever joined it only enhanced it to feel diffrent from fantasy norms for the most part. that was a good thing. but going from expac to expac where the main characters are always human or some variant of a blood/high elf where the horde reps are a footnote sidekick is -exhausting-.
i wouldnt even mind so much if humans and elves took a back seat and the dwarves, the gnomes, heck the pandaren were front and center. like bruh give me ji and aysa as the face of the expac.
its why i know another expac where i will have to listen to alphinaud monologue for 5 minutes at a time will wear me out. i love him, love graha but… i lost so much interest seeing id be against thancred and urianger, not on their side. just…feels the same?
i don’t want to hang out with the scions anymore
i was kind of happy at the end of endwalker when you all go your separate ways but then within a few quests i was hanging out with most of them again
i want my solo adventure
i would have been fine with urianger because you can count the WoL’s solo interactions with him on one hand but otherwise I agree. the “going seperate ways” didnt last. at all. their great characters, sure, but…too much of a good thing
Heartstone Peeve:
Arena sucks. EVERYONE plays completely mindless facerush, no matter what class, cards or even lack of synergy. It is immensely boring.
It also doesn’t help knowing that there is an entire black market for Arena apparently(this is why there are so many bots in normal. They farm losses for a small amount of free gold, repeatedly buy ton of arena entries until they get a perfect deck then sell it to people).
Roping is also a serious issue with people seeing it as a “legitimate strategy”.
Remember to vote in the European Parliament elections!
i can’t
Very Important!
I don’t know how the other EU countries have had it so far for this election, but Sweden has been chaotic, with the conservative government and racist party wanting to open up more cooperation with EU’s alt-right parties(such as Italy’s and France’s ones) as well as closer relations with Pro-Russian parties.
remember to register to vote (for plaid cymru)
mom keeps pushing me to vote for someone who wants to stop “transing” kids and we aint talking so much since i gave her my oppinions on that
When given the opportunity, people will optimize the fun out of the game everything.
