Pet peeves: The return (Part 6)

I did before. I got no response.

Sure, what is yours?

I think I added you.

i dont remember this ergo it never happened

I think you got the right one!

I can add you if you like?

Recently discovered the Hurtful feat for Pathfinder 1E, which is the meanest feat I’ve seen in a minute

you demoralize someone like ‘hey you, i’m gonna beat you up’ and then if you successfully scare them about it you get to immediately beat them up

this is incredibly anime

caught you flinching

(intimidate-focused build seemed appropriate for a paladin->hellknight character)

Domain Expansion - Two for Flinching

That’s for when I get Cornugon Smash where you go attack-intimidate-attack-attack

Peeve is D&D players trying to use weights/volumes of liquid to sneak out one shot kills or something equally stupid under the false banner of “creativity”.

Usually involving holy water or acid.

Always strikes me as a needlessly competitive approach - trying to ‘get one over’ on the DM, in a way which always actually needs their approval, and definitely always is something a player wouldn’t want turning against their own character by the NPCs.

“Oh what if I fill a portable hole with acid?” yeah man, cool. Okay. You killed Generic Badguy with it. Enjoy the experience you would’ve gotten anyway.

Now Average Assassin used it on you.
Please roll up a new character sheet.

Just such a dumb approach to the game. Hate it. Hate hate hate.

Okay, so I instruct one familiar to fly toward the target with a bag of holding, and with my friend’s familiar and bag I get them to-

Give us your discord hun, or locate an allied proxy to serve as a go between.

The bad part is that you need the economy to support it while the AI has a good chunk of free money each turn and can do two and a half stacks with only one small settlement.

last boss of skyward sword was pretty rough to fight. really glad i finished it though, it was a much better game than i was expecting even if it doesn’t reach the heights of any of the other 3D entrys

best princess zelda in the series for sure though

“Okay the Astral Plane is a bit iffy with time, and tearing a hole in it causes that to spill out. Everyone nearby ages the racial equivalent of 20 human years, and suffers a -2 penalty to all physical stats. The familiar-connection for casters doubles both penalities.”

that’s right, it’s not the beach that makes you old, it’s the bags of holding that makes you old

You seem to have decent experience with the series given some of your posts here, especially with the dedication needed to revisit Skyward Sword for completion’s sake. If you’ll indulge me, I have to ask:

Your favorite.

Your favorite Zelda game.

No runners up, no second place. You have to pick only one. It’s the rules.

You use largely chaff initially, then switch things in as income allows.
Miners with allied recruitment crane gunners is usually financially good.

(but seriously, play with unbreakable alliances and better bribes as base. The balance for player money is gutter trash)
