why aren’t there modders out there deleting every stupid fetch quest requirement and streamlining it
I mean, I know why: that stuff’s harder to mod than new models for eyes or hair
but also
come onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

I’m up to Adamant on my elf Necromancer run
Did highly enjoy getting the compromise result from the winter palace by having the inquisitor go ‘you buffoons, you children, I outplayed all of you in the grand game now make up and get in line’
Thunderers can get in the bin.
I’m more of a ranger man.
“Templar forces hold this warden tower, break their ranks show them no mercy!” is how i feel when doing the hinterlands
i see you are a drachtyr of culture
Takes abit to get the timing right, at least the Switch port is less janky than the Wii was.
And woof the boss rush is a marathon depending on ones tastes, so can’t fault you for not getting the hylian shield. Messing up the parrying though tsk tsk Mito I thought you were a gamer
i am very much not
elden ring is what i am currently trying to play and i am scared to go anywhere that i am not familiar with because i know i’m going to get clapped.
casual reminder shadow of the erdtree is locked behind beating mogh.
37% of ps5 players have beaten him.
35-36% of PC players have beaten him.
16% of Xbox players have beaten him.
no pressure
Soulsborne games are a dance, a very brutal and unfair dance, but still a dance.
And from what I hear Elden Ring is the most beginner friendly of the bunch.
My only on-hands experience was getting my clapped in DS3 and struggling with the very slow early game gameplay, even if I love the games
“You’re Dalish, aren’t you supposed to do nature magic? Why do you specialise in fire?”
“Reverence of nature is for my people. Fire and terror for everyone else.”
only reason i’m playing it
i’m a couple of hours in and it hasn’t been too bad so far. but i’ve barely moved on the world map
hiding behind my shield and poking things with a sword seems to be working for me for the most part
“Old growth must be burnt to make way for the new. And you shem’s are looking like some old weeds right now.”
from playing all of them i can safely say it is.
i am an outlier however in that i honestly would rather another fromsoft mecha game to a soulsborne
In fairness he is optional and kind of off to the side - without cause, it’s not surprising people might end up skipping him, either deliberately or accidentally.
I’d expect the numbers to go up with the DLC just because people have a direct reason to go fight him now other than for funsies.
It was very funny when Blackwall disapproved of me learning necromancy by saying ‘messing with the spirits, the dead…it’s unnatural’ and you can get the approval right back by reminding him that you are a mage who can conjure fire out of dreams and thus maybe unnatural is the wrong word
yeah its why im wondering is the metric from overall playthrough or actual attempts on him.
blackwalls a reasonable man and i appreciate the heck out of that
I want to like playing them but just not it for me chief
Aesthetically though? oh lawdy hot damn that is my thing
“Hello. I am your Trainer.”
it took me 3 months to finish my first playthrough after most of my friends finished it in 3 weeks at the longest. i get it.
My problem is just the very tanky controls early on, it’s just not it for me.
It’s also been my main complaint on WoW gameplay in modern times is they slowed it down.
I like it when gameplay goes brrrrrr
DS3 is probably the fastest of the bunch outside of Bloodborne(I’ve not played Elden Ring so cant say).
However, I am a big DS2 apologist and think its the better game by far.
Should I be offended that when asking for yeast, the guy immediately took me to the Vegemite?
