Pet peeves: The return (Part 6)

the Lightspeed Ram slapped though, I would’ve hooted and/or hollered if I wasn’t stunned by how gorgeous it looked

Yeah, agreed. I know some people got really bent out of shape over it “Well, ackshully-!” and all, but it was Beautiful. And I love poignent/sad but devastating counters/sacrifices in narratives, so :smiling_face_with_tear:

that they had to put out a notice in cinemas because people thought the audio cutting was a glitch was hillarious

everyone waiting for the jango fett sonic mine vibe

Makes a lot of sense looking back on the lore and inspirations, particularly with the changes ESO added compared to 2002’s Morrowind (which is very clear in the feudal japan influence on the culture and lore compared to ESO).

I guess I need to read up on Dunmer lore again, because I am sure learning a lot of things!

It is really funny but I guess the low popularity of the Elezen player models is to blame on that. I get people fawning over Estinien and Aymeric but in the same breath will chastise you for being an Elezen player.

Blessing and a curse in one.

It’s always a good time to read up on Dunmer lore :sunglasses:

The earlier talk of Swtor RP makes me miss my miraluka jedi master.
He may not have eyes, but he can still see what the Republic troops are doing to shame them.

Always a good time, but mainly ESO adjecent I need to read up on :sunglasses:

Fem Trooper was still top tier. As is any character voiced by Jen Hale, this hill I will die on :fist:

I just wish the Republic stories were as interesting as the Empire ones. Aside from the trooper there’s not much that gave me chills. Meanwhile every Imp story is super fulfilling and it always instilled me with this desire to make the Empire a better place. Especially in the Agent/Darth Imperius storylines.

Except for BH which is just like: where’s my f****** money??

There appears to be a kickstarter for a new Pathfinder 2e CRPG called The Dragon’s Demand soon to launch.

The studio is headed by a former Bioware producer who worked on Baldur’s Gate+NWN, and the studio itself has done…uh…not that much honestly. A few Neverwinter Nights modules (Darkness over Daggerford 2006, Mysteries of Westgate 2009, and Tyrants of the Moonsea 2019) and a standalone RPG for mobile devices in 2013/2014 (The Shadow Sun).

Could be worth keeping an eye on though.

I liked them enough, but then again I like jedi so it could be one punching a tree for an hour with a few lightsaber flourishes and I’d be happy.

That’s just the thing, I love the Jedi. And then I get served this chosen one story bs. The knight one has too much big hero stuff and councillor not enough. Also Imp voice actors are way better. Also I hate lightside lightsaber animations.

P.S. Darth Marr is way better than Shatele. He might just be my favourite character in the game.

The consular has the line ‘the Jedi stand for peace, not freedom’ which has lived in my head like a worm for many years

Screw them, my duskwight is pog in his little reading cave slowly dying of alcohol poisoning because the more he learns, the more depressed he gets.

My Ishgardian is also cool.

I prefer rocks and debris to lightning. I find the latter a bit too one note.

Chairman Mao annexed my pillow;

He’s using the quilt as his pillow, his chest is on my pillow and his butt is on his pillow.
