Scenarios vs islands = story driven vs resource farming.
Good call.
The timer with the expeditions even introduced somewhat of a “skill check”, or anyway something that made you feel like you have to get progressively better and better, whereas scenarios feel much more chill and cooperative, where you help one another and enjoy the ride.
They’re a perfect way to bridge the gap between novel lore and in-game lore. Think of big happenings like the Forsaken-human gathering being confined to a novel, with barely any of that making it to retail.
Blizzard could easily make a compromise on that, though. Given the new Story difficulty they’re adding to raids, they could combine both narrative and gameplay in the scenarios by adding difficulties like they did with island expeditions. Seems like a no-brainer to me.
Rumour has it Capcom is finally maybe gonna give us what we want, Code Veronica and Zero remakes
I hope those rumours come true, give me a HD Alexia Ashford mutant forms
While I hope you’re correct, the latest rumour I heard (~2 weeks ago) was instead it was another Resi1 Remake…
Should have 40k Bronze next reset, can then get my heavenly onyx cloud serpent.
Yay!
Why does it take some a day and a half to send stuff across borders while others (well established, large companies) take over a month to deliver anything?
I shall repeat it , the majority of people who put that in their TRP are effing liars, and what they actually should put is “Approachable but not for most of you.”
The ones in Stormwind really do be the worst offenders.
Anders starts rubbing his hands. Hehe boi.
look i find her a good romance if your not an elf. i get it, shes a city elf and one who wasnt as invested in the old stories in the alienages as a lot of city elves would be and she sure af aint an elfaboo like the dalish…which a…surprising amount of people i talk to arent aware an elven inquisitor is.
when trying to romance her as an elf its an uphill battle coz of your conflict of views on being an elf and she sure gets confrontational about it.
…she also seems to take issue with the inquisitor romancing solas. too much gushing about elven history for her tastes i guess.
It was me local scenario disliker
(They’re fine as a story telling tool but as PvE content they’re horrible)
No but really where is my “I stab everyone” option?
I choose the egg
Approachable if you’re my type.
Gonna set my TRP to say ‘approachable for levey’

Oh, that… that wasn’t a hyperbole or anything, that legit-
… Ok then.
Both of them do with eachother. You lose approval with Solas if you romance Sera as a Lavellan Inquisitor. They absolutely hate eachother.
It’s kinda tragic that any sense of cultural identity Sera might have had was thoroughly obliterated by the time she was born and raised, to the extent that she’s been socialised to actively hate it.
the reveal of what the Dalish face markings were was actually horrifying, just a stark reminder of just how much they have lost
Despite her having a strong dislike and feelings about elves and elvish culture, if you romance her as Lavellan, she still does want to try even if she doesn’t outright admit it.
Reading her journal shows how she tries to think of girly and “Elfy” things that the Inquisitor might like, such as flower braids and even trying to learn elven to read poetry to her.
So with an elf romance she is still open to try for her partner.
stop making me want to redownload the game and romance sera
