Grass type starters are normally the coolest, maybe to counter-balance the fact there’s so many early game grass options normally.

Gen 1 and 2 starters were all good.

Gen 1 is Squirtle (he has the squirtle squad)
Gen 2 is Totodile (cool guy)
Gen 3 is Torchic (he started the fire/fighting trend)
Gen 4 is Turtwig (tortoise)
Gen 5 is Snivy (smugleaf)
Gen 6 is Froakie (greninja is cool sorry not sorry)
Gen 7 is Rowlet (owl)
Gen 8 is Grookey (the other two are bad)
Gen 9 is Fuecoco (he is friends with Totodile, they share the same brain cell)
Water: 3
Grass: 4
Fire: 2

The trouble with the gen 2 starters is that all 3 of them are the best one

Playing Elden Ring offline is actually quite good, IMO. Loading in/main menu is a lot faster (PS5) without the online pre-checks, and the world isn’t so… cluttered?
