Pet peeves: The return (Part 8)

Thought he was younger now, but my point on all the weirdos coming out the woodworks stands. Gives me the icks.

Glad he’s at least a character that shows ageing unlike others

27 apparently?

Dang elves and their immaculate complexions.

He and Dagran are basically the only characters of note for whom the DF timeskip actually affected to any significant degree, in the Anduin is now late 20s instead of early, and Dagran is old enough so that it’s slightly less weird he’s on the frontlines doing stuff.

How old is he now? I think my math is off…

16-17. He was conceived sometime in Vanilla, so born around year 25-26 assuming there’s no secret weird dwarf pregnancy length they never mentioned and hopefully never will.

It should be year 42 as of TWW.

She’s a mage so, definetly gonna be around for a few hundred years looking the way she does now.

:nerd: actually in the Last Guardian it’s noted that while arcane magic can extend a natural human’s lifespan by roughly 100 years it doesn’t counteract the effects of ageing on appearance in any notable way, and that the elderly mages of 100+ years are still super old looking.

Aegwynn is called out as being the only (at the time) exception to this.

Now Jaina might be using illusions to appear younger without changing the actual skin beneath, but that’s a different thing…

I think her lack of age is a sign of her dying.

Khadgar, no new model, possibly dead.
Allyria, new model, alive.
Anduin, new model, alive.

There’s a pattern there.
Granted it’s one I’ve made up but still. No I haven’t bought tinfoil.

im reminded of an illusion mage in gw2 whose implied to do this and when a cactus elf that sounds like Bender pointed it out publically she threatened to kill him.

wow, gw2, the witcher…sorceress’s do be vain…

It also makes Sylvanas really sketchy as Anduin was about 17-18 in BfA with all the “little lion” talk.

Idk I think she was sketchy for a lot of other reasons long before

Also Sylvanas has an easy out, she can just say the Jailor made her say it.

I love Jaina but hate what they’ve done with her flip-flop stance on things post-MoP. Also hate people hating on MoP and earlier Jaina, gods forbid a woman has trauma and no help smh.

But also give me greying Jaina, show her age damnit!

Sylvanas was already sketchy post-Wrath, but yeah it really didn’t help with Anduin being around 17-18 (much less some of the "here’s my OC ship with Anduin in Legion :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: " icky icky gross)

If I ignore SL it doesn’t exist much less the bald Ion looking [REDACTED]

I was running a dungeon as tank for the first time the other day and got hit with the ‘Mate’.

What, mate? We’re a week into release, excuse me for not watching the fatboss for every normal/heroic dungeon 5 days into the expac.

idk why but when it comes to OC x prominent wow figure it gives me a real moment of “why.” that i just dont get from other games. “oh you ship with graha? basic but i get it.” “oh your one of those braham shippers…brave…brave…” etc but for some reason i see it with a wow faction leader and i turn into that disgusted homelander gif.

'cept with khadgar shippers for some reason. theres a certain class to that.

I think because in FF14 it’s more explicit that you are also a character in this world, with very strong neck muscles - you just don’t have that time in constant cutscenes with a consistent cast

Like, I am The Champion or whatever but the story more happens around me than with me

pretty much and i can say the same for gw2, eso and swtor too. the champion of azeroth’s too busy being a murderhobo for romance

Suits Koralash just fine, an excuse to start at one end of the word and kill their way to the other is exactly what the aspect ordered
