Pet peeves: The return (Part 8)

are any of these with sith inquisitor?

They can be.

But then she’d be faux scottish. Sultry spooky doesn’t work in scottish.

half of these do not feel like idioms

Why would her accent change? It’s just a body!

It does kinda tickle me how there’s very little middle ground in how people view Xal’atath. Either she’s awful, terrible, cringe villain or she’s amazing. I’m in the latter: I think her visual design is amazing, voice acting great, and I enjoy every scene she appears in. It’s probably not entirely because I’m down bad for her. Probably…

I want to go lay in bed and go F today in particular but I agreed to go out, so dragging my depressed butt out.

No :pensive: even though you can recruit them throughout the eternal empire stuff they only romance the class they started with. So Kira will always be for a Jedi Knight, Nadia for a consular and Jaesa for a sith warrior (Even if shes still light side)

Take care of yourself Cro. were all here for you

I’m alright with her, but I forsee over saturation.
And we don’t get super evil dwarf. Gimme.

already started.

Yeah whoever wrote this didn’t develop that stuff enough but you can probably bake them into proper idioms with a little bonus effort.

As others pointed out it’s very obvious we the player exist in FF vs ā€œChampionā€ who is also too busy being a murderhobo for romance.
Idc if you ship yourself with a main character as long as idk, they’re not a child/BARELY of adult age when you yourself is someone in your mid-late 20s onwards (that is my ick on the Anduin shippers from the past that have crawled out lately).
I don’t pay your sub (but I can pay your dom) so I don’t really care much what people do to some extent, with WoW that extent is just so much shorter as most of the main cast is already established with partners for better or worse, look at Shaw x Flynn im no fan bc where is the chemistry in BFA? not present. Naturally that is just ONE example.

Khadgar was already established as being a young man in the RTS games, aged up and now he’s just forgive, a daddy. Yes I hate that word but doesn’t make it less true on Khadgar,

Idk man, there’s just some OC x Canon ships that irk me, Anduin from Legion and prior is just one of them for obvious reasons.
I’m happy having my Hunter be canonicly AroAce and my FF character has a partner with a friend so I avoid all that drama regardless of MMO I play at the time.

As in all games, my characters date each other. Don’t have to deal with it after that.

I’ve never really considered shipping my WoW OC/s with any canon characters, but my FFXIV OCs will all be down bad for Y’shtola and maybe a weird, unspoken appeal to Zenos (one person who’s their equal in a foight and is a tall blond cutie).

Poke around in Hallowfall a bit there’s a lot of buildings with open doors, often no npcs and a good amount of furnishing. Can we get that for spots that will RP for more than just a couple months during the expansion?

actually the one time I’m not down bad for a blonde male fantasy character (maybe its because I can’t stand Zenos)

Arathi rpers are already wandering around, at least I saw two walking (actual walking) through the… first cave area, whatever the name is.

Is the dialogue around it at least interesting or do they just go ā€œhi i’m now inexplicably into youā€

I can to some extent see the appeal of Zenos but as I have been outspoken on before he is a very basic two-dimensional character and I am also very TiredCat.JPEG at people making him into some sexgod when he is VERY AroAce coded and even turned down Yotsuyu (and then made her Viceroy of Doma).

I just think it’s very Neat for my WoL to have a dark counterpart they loath but can’t remove from their thoughts. Something that might have been given the spark that exists on account of them matching each other’s monstrous strength, but instead they’re destined to fight to the death because it’s Zenos’ only way he knows how to express his affection.

I like problematic romance in my fiction, games, and roleplay :relieved:
