Pet peeves: The return (Part 8)

Kira’s at least was a long overdue confession it seems. Nothing cringey but it felt heartfelt and also im a sucker for two jedi saying “screw the code, were here for the yuri.”. Nadia i cant say. Jaesa… her light side reunion is sweet but if its dark side she wants that dark bloodline. yuri will not be an obstacle.

…Elara is you go for a drink with her once and thats it.

i ship my WoL with that cute au ra from the ivalice and bozja storylines because no one else will :triumph: real recognises real

Kira sounds appealing but I don’t wanna play a jedi

You do get Lana later as a blonde gay sith wife.

Yeah and I have romanced her twice

I like her but some variety would be nice

Fair and valid for you both, though I am squinting at you Loras.

But I will take my tall goth femroe playing friend over any NPC (until they add a tall goth roe NPC)

I know what I’m about

Evidently living in Mito’s walls have been a bad influence on you

I’m the influence not the influenced

You say that, yet keep showing otherwise

Theres always Major Anri

It causes me physical pain that Ashara isn’t into wlw

I also feel like Jaesa is either too good aligned uwu or too off-the-rails crazy for my sith warrior preference

I always struggled with Jaesa. Her light-side feels a bit too innocent, in the very typical way Bioware writes innocent/younger women.

Her dark side is just legitimately insane to the point that it is kinda scary.

I don’t find her scary but the SWTOR romance writing I don’t remember being nuanced enough to let me play a not-super-deranged sith who’s still into kissing crazypants evil Jaesa in a way that feels compelling to me

I’m pretty sure dark side Jaesa flat out wants an open relationship as she now considers romance to be boring and she wants to screw around as much as possible to be free.

I got to thinking about Faerin being part of Lothar’s bloodline, and the Arathi Empire.

And the way I see it, it’s been 2000-odd years, right?

Outside of dedicated inbreeding, Lothar’s bloodline should have basically spread through every single person in the empire, or near enough. Estimates given from googling put the descendants in the millions, which is presumably more than the entire Empire’s population unless its size dwarfs literally every other kingdom on Azeroth (probably put together).

So it makes her being Faerin Lothar a bit less impressive is all. It seems like a solid chance that literally everyone we meet in Hallowfall is a Lothar.

At least, a little bit.

while simultaneously wanting to produce a sith bloodline with you
