different kind of milk
Heâs only ever been a forum weirdo though, right? Never seen him in game (thankfully)
Bull milk innit.
Never seen him in game either, then again it sounded like he played alliance mostly while posting on his vulp, so we may never know.
My most memorable Astranaar moment that I recall seeing in person was when nelf mage was released, and a certain guild in Astranaar decided to roleplay basically a nelf version ofâŚthat one night from November 9th in 1938.
Because they were angrily spouting in both OOC and IC that magic was by law illegal to use within Kaldorei territory whatsoever and they also attacked non night elf mages.
Tangent from this but Iâm just now realising that the guy in one of the scarlet dungeons who blizz gave a German accent to is burning books.
Always thought the accent was distasteful because of what it implies but
Its nice when things like that finally click isnât it?
My most memorable Astranaar moment was being a poor, defenseless senator of Ironforge, mauled to death by a crazed druid.
A pity that one of my fellow senators, some years later, upon hearing along the grapevine that I was now identifying as trans decided to begin spreading it around immediately.
Astranaar/Ashenvale RP was always a bit wild with the aggressive use of server lore / fanon, but looking back I probably wouldnât have gone in to be a disruptive memelord given the choice now.
Vixiâs right about mages though, they got hate crimed a lot by overzealous RPers.
Itâs also around the time I think Blizzard started to drop the ball with Scarlets pretty hard and that boss is a good example.
Their whole point was that it showed how the Light could also be led astray. They had original goals that got twisted and warped by demons influencing them and making them into horrible people.
So itâs a bit strange that with the organization crushed and rebuilding, these new guys who fully knows they were led astray are justâŚbeing equally horrible if not as bad, while also wanting to burn away the evidence.
oh huh? who was that?
My favourite rp trope is people suddenly developing templar syndrome regardless of race or setting and believing magic was made to serve man and not rule over him
Begins with a Q. I found out he was doing it because a mutual friend messaged me asking if it was true and that theyâd heard it from him.
I distanced myself from that group a long, long time ago unsurprisingly.
Sorry to hear it should always be up to you if you want to share coming out to people or groups, never anyone else.
âŚ
Sadly reaffirms why I keep details about myself close to my chest, even from friends.
my Night Elf druid was forcibly detained by some Watcher guild for wondering if maybe theyâd a right to be upset that an ally was seemingly killed for no reason
That was you? I was at the trial of the Highborne in question! Ended up with them being exiled from kaldorei lands (so pretty much a slap on the wrist, they just went to their holdings in Dire Maul, IIRC).
A few times I decided to lean into the âDo you have a license warlock?â that guard roleplayers tended to do, despite the fact that I never dressed Vixi as a warlock.
I just ended up roleplaying her being really frustrated over getting asked for the 60th time that day and waved documents in their faces with a âThere, see? Let me get back to my work now.â
I was Senator Moltenstone, yes. My biggest (read: only) claim to AD fame.
âMâam this isnt a warlock liscence its a Lidls loyalty card.â
