i wanted to say he killed his own but sam witwer is actually a really cool dude and has done a lot for the franchise
i wasn’t especially interested in galen marek as a character but force unleashed was a very fun game for throwing around stormtroopers using the force

it fell into the really frustrating “lightsaber as a baseball bat” vibe that i just couldn’t get over. the force powers being incredibly cool was great though.
making those little dudes float around and hold onto stuff was peak ps3n physics

Everyone knows Mass Effect ripped of Advent Rising, the true space wizard game.

Honest explanation: Extremely aged sci-fi game that tried to be “The” Halo Killer back in the 2000s. (It did this by being a near 1 to 1 watered down copy).
Buggy, broken, weird story and dated graphics with some good music. Immediately declared it was the start of a massive franchise then died almost right away after the game released. There was also some false marketing involved as it said in all its promo materials that it was written by Orson Scott Card. This turned out to be false and he instead wrote about 2 lines of dialogue for the intro and that was it. Everything was written by the lead creators who had no experience.
There have been jokes that ME “stole” from it because it has space magic(your character gets called a ‘wizard’ when they unlock those powers) that is basically identical to biotic powers in ME. There are some other similarities too that just makes it a bit amusing.

He did Maul in Clone Wars, not that I’ve watched it but people speak highly of his performance.
To this day I still wonder -how- that ape got back in time far enough to turn the whole planet ape…

They were apparently going to try and explain it in a comic book but it got scrapped after like 2 issues.
The movie was critically panned so any sequel for it was scrapped and we didn’t get any other planet of the apes media until the new ones with Caesar.

I see! That’s a shame but suppose inevitable if it was critically panned.
Have to say, I do like the new ones that came out with Caesar, and Koba and Woody Harrelson’s “the Colonel” made for pretty good antagonists. I have not seen the latest one in cinema yet , not sure if I will ( I visit the cinema far too little these days), but I’m hearing good things about it!

You missed the like 4 other threads that got deleted over the course of last night and this morning.
Also saw several ADers who’ve been active on the forums here openly defending homophobia and transphobia because of “woke bad”.
But yeah, alot of angry right-wing Gamers™. Just had a unpleasant chat with a guy who claimed that fascism was a creation of the left because “WW2 germany and italty were socialist left”.
Which ended up going down the “If you dont tolerate my intolerance you are evil!” route.
