and i hope we see more and i hope they remain “in your face” because like someone above said its the only way to drive home to bigots we exist
Know what game GOG needs?
Black & White 2.
I CRAVE TO PLAY IT!!!
playing a stealth class in swtor makes the game much more enjoyable, wew
Mandatory Combat sections looming in the background like that WWF reaction gif…
my smuggler sneaking through 80% of the flashpoint going “teehee”
rping a smuggler when you could have rped a sith
Watching Dungeon Meshi, just got to WOAH HEY (if you know you know) and having a delightful time
We have established that I am Laois and my partner is Marcille
I decided to try out tanking for the funsies.
While it’s certainly neuron activation to get a queue in the same microsecond as pressing ‘queue’, it is almost an immediate deactivation seeing everyone else already accepted, meaning it’s a dungeon in progress.
I just want those first bosses as well aaa!!!
I will simply seduce the sith.
Used to RP an imperial sniper and loved Sith Intelligence, having to tow the line between being a massive imperial supremacist while absolutely despising the Sith was fun
I’ve arrived at Nar Shaddaa and I’ve vaguely remember hating it as a zone
The beauty of the agent imo. A lot of diffrent angles you can work. Complete sith simp, loyal imperialist tired of cleaning the siths bs, an agent of chaos, a double agent…
but no space magic
I am conflicted about Nar Shadda.
In lore, I like it. I like the idea of mega-cities in sci-fi (Not in reality). But Nar Shadda feels very frustrating to actually quest through. Very linear, annoying quests, a bit too packed with mob density so it feels slow to progress. Frustrating map layout.
I have similar issues with Belsavis. Planet Prison is a cool idea, but its very boring in terms of what they made for it gameplay-wise.
anyone wanna come to the nar shaddaa red light district with me? no boys invited
Sure, let’s do a girls night out!
SWTOR’s gameplay is, frankly, Not Great. Its vaguely serviceable, and it’s made less odious with the Companion system, but the story and RPG elements are definitely the strong suit.
This bleeds into quest (mechanic) design too, sadly.
I still miss my Imperial Trooper I even got the armour.
Can you now play as any ‘class’ on both sides, was that a thing?
I tried to turn my Stronghold for her into an Imperial office/Barracks, but a curse upon the EA lootbox system and how Bad it was…
The core gameplay and engine does feel very mid to late 2000’s bioware.
The gameplay is fine, it’s adequate enough that I don’t feel that reaching the dialogue etc isn’t worth the slog.
