I know theyā€™re scary and all, but Iā€™d still want to experience those at some point. Especially with how some of my old dreams could technically classify as nightmares, but I found them fun and whatnot after waking up and being like ā€˜woah wtf was that!ā€™

feel like my d&d group is falling apart. we havenā€™t played in forever and the dm wonā€™t schedule another session unless everybody is in attendance which is proving nigh on impossible. weā€™ve gone from playing rime where we were on a pretty solid every 2 weeks format to every 2 months if weā€™re lucky

Started TWW at last. Liking it so far, but itā€™s super early day.

Moira and Dagran (and even Brann and Magni) are doing nothing to dispel my Dwarf appreciation time, however.
In fact, Iā€™ve the urge to remake my Dark Ironā€¦ for the Queen!!

I used to be less scared of lucid dreams (and also used to get them less often), until in 2020 I had a time when I was getting headaches, and lucid dreams were accompanied by a feeling that my head was going to explode. Sometimes I woke up with a headache that began in the dream and immediately stopped upon waking up.

The headaches donā€™t occur anymore, but Iā€™m still scared.

But yes, Iā€™ve had fun with those dreams where I didnā€™t become aware enough to get scared. Among other things, Iā€™ve been able to fly, grow plants, shapeshift (once I grew angel wings, and once I turned into Liara), repair and repaint damaged buildings, change clothes with thought, conjure snow, and move my phone into extradimensional storage by pressing it against my chest.

Also, in all dreams (lucid and non-lucid alike), I have a hearthstone-like teleport home ability, to the point that I can actually rely on it.

General Var Suthra: ā€œPlease walk into this trap for us.ā€
Me + Kira: ā€œNo this is a trap.ā€
General: ā€œDonā€™t care do it.ā€
Me: ā€œBring reinforcements for us then.ā€
General: ā€œNo.ā€

Maybe the Sith have the right idea, their military wouldnā€™t say no to a space wizard.

ā€œYou need 37 int to use Law of Regressionā€

ā€œwell, guess i am getting the stats for ancient death rancor and then using stargazer heirloomā€

Yeah, if those were accompanied by actual physical pain, thatā€™d be a different thing.

While I havenā€™t managed to lucid dream yet, I do have my fair share of (probably medically altered, since strange/vivid dreams were side effects for some meds) fun dreams. My favourite one is where the world was going through a series of cataclysmic events and every time I died I would be reborn into a different point in time, about five minutes before the next event would happen, so Iā€™d die over and over again until the world imploded and shot a stream of colourful matter into space.

It was just very vivid and beautiful, like watching a full blown movie. Some other highlights were a horror movie monster appearing through a door while weā€™re at my grandmaā€™s place and chasing us around and whatnot, so another horror thriller for my brain to enjoy. And I donā€™t even really like scary movies!

For some reason, most of those dreams had me either die or be in severe peril. There was one where I was kidnapped by some evil people and I got rescued by spec ops during winter and it was an entire mission.

Iā€™ve had very wild and varied dreams over the years.

I keep a dream journal (which is what allowed me to write the above post), not for esoteric reasons or whatever (Iā€™m a materialist and donā€™t believe in that kind of stuff), but because itā€™s fun. Itā€™s not public, but I can grant you (and other trusted people on this forum) access if you wish.

General Garza is the only General I want to talk about.

Have unlocked earthen but sadly have no desire to play one

Let me be a rock Druid, you cowards

cool i will probably unlock them about 3 months from now

by which point druids will have been made an option

you also canā€™t be a death knight, which is also a cowardly move because ā€˜Saronite-infused Death Earthenā€™ is the coolest possible concept

if your class concept isnt based around a mineral or gemstone what are you even doing tbh

also, taking inspiration from the good flat monotone speakers like SC2ā€™s Void Rays.

ā€œAnnihilation commencing.ā€
