Pet peeves: The return (Part 8)

i would also like to just add.
all these superweapons were BEFORE Chancellor “Killmonger” saresh came to power and were during the reign of a “chancellor of peace.” peace indeed…

that scene at the end where things are dark but kind of hopeful and then suddenly the death star drops out of hyperspace without warning :skull:

was nice of them to shoot the planet a few miles off the coast instead of directly on top of the facility though so people had time to process how completely over it was

Stinkiest Chancellor. Didn’t like her. I can only imagine what she would have created or greenlit.

“We only made this device that replicates the gravity well of a black hole on planets as a means of self-defense and to ward of attacks, we promise!”

Definitely a petty Stellaris thing to do. The decades long war triggered by the colonization of planet Triglav Tetrius by the nefarious, loathsome Blorg ends with the firing of said colony directly at their wretched homeworld.

on a sadistic level i appreciate that about tarkin. that was completely deliberate on his part…

eternal empire spoiler

Shooting her during that Eternal empire chapter was the most satisfying thing i had ever done in that entire stinky arc.

Absolutely agree with that spoiler.

Especially if you also played Trooper and had to deal with her on the regular.

doubly so for bounty hunter because you can add “whacked two supreme chancellors” to the resume and drive up your prices

trooper was a much more entertaining story than i ever thought it would be

I appreciated that it was quite down to earth compared to the other stories.

And that the dark/light side options on trooper was more like actual moral choices rather than “Kiss the puppy” or “Kick the puppy”.

Instead most of the choices for Trooper were along the lines of “Save 1 person but risk thousands” or “Sacrifice 1 person but potentially save thousands”.

The death run hasn’t from what I can tell but the minstrel is now a power house of doom incarnate so you never die anyway

I swear Vulpera have a global taunt function built into them.
Warmode on an Alliance character? People will generally leave you alone. Heck, I /wave at Horde and sometimes they /wave back!

Warmode on a vulpera?

“TALLY HO LADS, RELEASE THE HOUNDS AND LET THE FOX HUNT BEGIN! WHAT SPORT!”

Just let me farm, he’s only small :frowning:

Not a proper complaint btw, people are just using warmode as intended but they sure use it a LOT more when I’m on a three foot tall gremlin with an oversized pair of ears.

trooper imo gets good development because of that. because of certain options that occur during eternal empire, war on iokath, jedi under siege etc, the fact that the trooper can start becoming pro-empire makes it feel like tavus was right about the republic and havoc squad.
