This is very cool key art however it bugs me that Thrallâs doomhammer plate in game is gold+blue not gold+black like it should be. They clearly know what colours itâs meant to be - because they have it right in this art. So whatâs the deal??

I am a bit sad that I missed the M+ discussion, but as someone who is argueably Good At The Game⢠(mild sarcasm, above average washed up nowadays) I think M+ are dreadfull purely based on the fact the glue sniffing windowlickers will run M+ and then come grief my raids by not knowing A) their class outside AoE rotation, B) how to cooperate on a larger scale and C) just being overall bad.
My very salty opinion aside, I think M+ does have a place in the game but the fact it phased the need or drive to go dungeon into HC dungeon into Raids pipeline out has frankly been devastating for the formula. I much preffered Challenge Modes aka the predecessor as they werenât just endless scaling until RNG decides every untargeted uninteruptible spell just smacks you in the face and ruins the key because OH NO the healer lost the lottery on that.
If they didnât award easy gear or frankly, easy access to tier gear I think itâd be more fine but alas people want the carrot but not the work. It should have itâs own tier gear that only works for the dungeons and their affixes (pls remove tyrannical pls and thx).
TLDR - I am a salty gatekeeping b-word who has too many geared players who canât cooperate together grief my raids in the past.
Also the scaling isnât even fun, itâs just randomly get bodied or your tank gets bodied at some point.
Iâve done M+ as both one of the worst (BFA Surv lol, lmao) and best (DF BM, Aug) so Iâd say I have some modicum of where it goes, also healed and tanked some mainly in BFA.
Editing in to add as well, I returned to S3 in DF and hit 2500+ rating in M+ within 2-weeks, granted the dungeons were a joke but it kind of also just also shows how pointless they are. Anyway that has been my moment of M+ sucks!!!

Also, completely other topic, but battlenet used to give notifications on how long the servers would be down when they are, only, it doesnât seem to show those notifications anymore when I open the app from my desktop. Does anyone know if thereâs a setting for that or if they just stopped doing it? Cause I find it highly confusing
