Pet peeves: The return (Part 8)

I got a spider catcher which is kind of like one of those grabber claws with a brush, which has been great for scooping up spiders and crane flies without hurting them and dropping them outside

Sadly not sure where I got mine but there’s probably something online

Said “WC3 ideal” was honestly represented by Tyrande only. Like I said in the Warcraft Retrospective, the WC3 night elf campaign had a conflict between Tyrande, who distrusted outsiders, and Furion, who was willing to work with them, with the latter’s position eventually winning thanks to some prodding from Medivh.

And even Tyrande learned her lesson after seeing the bravery of the humans and orcs firsthand, and by TFT she was perfectly fine with working together with Kael’thas and a human paladin.

WC3 and WoW were developed in parallel, with Chris Metzen overseeing both. In WC3 we saw the military side of night elf culture, and in WoW, the civilian side, and night elf civilians are largely “Greetings, traveler” and “May the stars guide you”. There’s no contradiction. The xenophobic culture that kills outsiders for looking funny at a tree or moonwell only existed in the collective imaginations of roleplayers.

Me too, my hands!
I will coax them on, then carry them elsewhere. Or let them wander into a glass.
They protect me from mosquitoes, thus they are welcome.

I did too, but that was after it somehow landed ON MY NECK. Unfortunately, I am a big baby when it comes to spiders so if I see one, it’s kill on sight. Sorry not sorry.

Whats the saying about never meeting your idols again?

Stay out of Australia

I plan on using a spider on my hunter alt for the next PvP season. The problem is, the creep factor might be dampened by arachnophobia mode. I’m peeved.

I’m mixed on it.

Without giving spoilers on each, I had fun with the pelupelu, x’braal, mamool ja and yok huy. The hanuhanu and the moblins, I could have done without. The entirety of Kozama’uka was a bust for me.

I’m left in a kind of centrist position where while I had fun with the expansion, I’m cognizant of a whole lot of its issues and can sympathise with the people who dislike 'em.

I’ve had an all spiders undead hunter since Cata and can confirm that at least in random BGs some people used to not be too keen on attacking you. (Not played WoW pvp in ages.)

Had some really, really relaxed Arathi games with him.

I have arachnophobia but spiders in PVP are iconic. I’ll never forget being hunted down repeatedly by a widow the hunter had affectionately named “tonystark”

Finally levelled Kump to 70.

I didn’t level him since BfA, technically. Especially with how I used my Orc Shaman to RP him instead.

The forums see through your hollow lies…

Jokes aside though congratulations! I’ve just done the same with my mage, new expansions feel like the right time to dust off the older toons I feel.
