Tonight I went to an observation platform across the bay from the city, because I was bored. Took some pictures of the city and its harbor at night. I decided to walk a bit and came upon an idle taxi just standing near the hill road going down.
I first asked the taxi driver to take me to a supermarket, but then we talked a bit about vistas seen from the observation platform, and I mentioned that I liked stargazing and was looking for a dark spot where the stars are the brightest. He offered to take me to a forest road outside the city and, the madman, he actually did it. He even waited for me and offered to escort me slightly into the forest and back â and did it.
Heâs driving me home now. This was fantastic.
Iâm glad you had a good time but I gotta admit my eyebrows are skyrocketing at âa taxi driver I didnât know drove me to the dark forest outside of townâ.
I mean, this wasnât nearly the craziest of my night adventures. Besides, itâs a well-known taxi company that I regularly use, and I remembered the number.
