Around once or twice a year, I’ll make a new SWTOR alt and run through the class storyline and some of the stuff that came afterwards, maybe RP a little.
Then I’ll get to the Eternal Empire era and decide that not even Valkorion’s VA can keep me interested.
Rinse and repeat.

This is why if I get any medical appointments or anything I need to do, I prefer it early in the day.
Because then it feels like I got the rest of the time free instead of “I cant do nothing or I will miss it.”
Loras and I are alike in this matter.
It really is a big roadblock which is a shame. I do like the idea of the story and some of the characters. But it is such a slog to get through. Most of the chapters are straight up filler content and fighting skytroopers is so boring.
Even Dragon Age 2 has better combat and it relies on the same thing. Enemies spawning in out of nowhere 6 times in a row.

I find it very vindicating that everyone who mentions SWTOR seems to align with my opinion that Eternal Empire arc was bloody awful, actually.
