Needed to train a dude at work on a thing. Shouldn’t take more than half an hour, so we arranged to do it yesterday afternoon. When the time rolls around, he says he’s too busy, can we do it this morning instead, I say sure. Now he’s not online.
All Xal’atath needs is love. Turalyon gets to grill on his light-plate as an exhausted divorcee until he realises what he had in front of him all along with Fareeya.
Dipping into a forum thread to see what’s going on, only to find support for a well-known hate group wasn’t entirely what I expected but nor am I particularly surprised. A few new forever ignores came out of it, at least.
P.S. I swear Vixi if you don’t stop validating the 'phobes by dignifying them with responses I will be moving into your walls from Mito’s.
Yeah, I have a great feeling about the game. We’re supposedly getting another preview soon, too, to tide us over.
I’m hoping there’s some other big titles announced soon. Maybe the next Resident Evil game. I’m looking forward to Monster Hunter Wilds but that’s also fairly far out.
Shocking that the ‘negativity thread’ turned out to be a pet peeves thread for all the dingus transphobes who can’t post in this thread because they are clearly unwelcome, and it’s just a garbage fire of right-wing people 'yassss exactlyyyy’ing each other
And as I told said to Dru yesterday, despite how I can be on the forums, I really honestly do not like confrontations actually and I am otherwise a pretty nervous person. It stresses me out. Most stuff do almost 24/7.
Not a good combination to also be curious to poke my head into things as well.
I mean maybe it’s my difficulty in reading social cues (ques?) but it was a bit shocking to me. Going from ‘heh’ to ‘what in the blue fires of hell did I just read’ was whiplash.
In other news though, swtor continues to have a terrible framerate on modern PCs. So it’s nice to know some things remain the same.
If Classic WoW had really stuck to #NoChanges then it would’ve been the same way. Unfortunately Blizzard caved and gave it adequate performance, the COWARDS.
On one hand I love that game and I always go back to it every couple of months.
But it is also pretty janky and its engine just seem to be struggling constantly.
Fun reminder that there is still a well-known bug in Swtor from LAUNCH that hasn’t been fixed yet. Sometimes if you play an imperial agent, you can get stuck on the cutscene to go to Nar Shadda. The only way to fix it is to contact support and have them manually progress you past it.
That is the official solution on the help page for it. Nearly a decade later.
I do hope it will continue to do well, I haven’t checked lately. A studio change can be great sometimes. Lotro’s change from Turbine to Daybreak was a lifesaver and it’s stronger than ever because of it.
“Both sides are as bad as each other, you can’t be intolerant of intolerance–”
Remember kids: queer hostility against conservatives is a reaction to conservative hostility. Conservative hostility is a reaction to queer people existing. They are not the same.
Crawling on your belly to appease hostile conservatives and throwing your own demographic under the bus won’t save you because they’ll still be lining you up against the wall with the rest of us. See: Caitlyn Jenner’s attempts to ingratiate herself with US republicans.
