Pet peeves: The return (Part 8)

Simple way to fix this.
Ban all Punching People In The Face Sport.

Seems like common sense to me…

dear diary, i had the scion romance dream again (contractually obliged not to disclose which). i once again woke up disappointed with reality.

as long as it wasn’t y’shtola you’re safe from my violent reprisal

this is where i state my wildly unpopular oppinion.
yshtola does nothing for me. she is near the bottom of my scions favourite list.
which i now realise narrows the search considerably.

please let’s not do the scion tier list again. there were some serious fights in here last time we did it

because nobody wanted to accept that my version was right and theirs was wrong

that is a really based list actually

Elly clearly is an owlgirl…

ive seen his ff14 character, he betrayed owl-kind for its sworn enemy

This is the brain achingly stupid part, and these people STILL don’t see how they are cutting their own nose off to spite their face.

“They always Look a certain way, you can always tell!”
“Oh, they always have [blank], which is totally never at all shared by cis Women of all shapes, sizes, ages, etc!”
“If they don’t have [blank], which can also totally be removed for various medical reasons etc, they’re not a Real Woman!”

The list goes on and on and on. Performative gender is such an absolute farce… frankly, it should all be done away with entirely. No, I’m not even memeing or tongue in cheek or anything, trying to cram the human race and all its natural diversity into ‘neat’ cramped boxes is stupid and hateful and I’m sick and tired of it.

Can’t wait for them to demand for women to stop wearing pants

the presence of gaelcats does support this…

except they cant and instead call cis women trans-women.
though frankly realest take ive ever seen on that came from a cis woman being told they can tell shes a trans-woman and just shrugging it off with “so they still called me a woman what do i care? trans women are women.”

Oh yeah, absolutely. The irony (which they never get, ESPECIALLY blooming Americans, who seem immune to it entirely…) is how often they’re saying they can ‘always tell’ while attacking cis women.

And it’s stupid. It’s always been stupid. It was stupid in the 90s when I was a kid, when the ‘outrage’ was about women with shorter hair, with ‘manly’ clothes, with more openly butch types and its the same. Old. Tired. Nonsense that they used for Black people, Jewish people, gays, lesbians, ethnic, religious, whatever. It’s always the same - ‘I have an Acceptable Reason to Hate someone, and that’s that!’, basically.

there are acceptable reasons to hate someone, the kinds of people id eat a forum vacay for even saying anything other than jade witch, but never will hating someone for their sexuality, their gender identity, the colour of their skin, ethnicity, religion or nationality be one of them. i grew up in a country where you could be arrested just for being gay until a few years before i was born. you only ever deal with bigotry when you show it 0 tolerance as a norm.

Still reminded of that republican woman in the US who thought she saw a teenage girl was walking around without underpants. So she decided to ‘prove’ this by forcefully pulling down her skirt in the middle of the street.

Said woman was both wrong about her belief and she was also arrested for sexually harassing said teenager instead.

TERFs are only “pro women’s rights” if it means they tell other women what to do.

Something something, smash the patriarchy, stop listening to men, listen to us instead. And if you don’t agree with us to the letter, you’re a traitor.

It’s pretty telling that most TERFs also tend to be the type of women who absolutely despise younger women and like to brag about “We didn’t have it easy before”.

Like they wear the struggles of the older feminist movement as a badge and you have to EARN it like they claimed to have done.
