While I know a lot of people love them I don’t care about them and don’t use them so I have avoided learning them in order to keep the default tab in the pet tab of the character sheet as the mount list.
The issue I have is that I messed up and clicked through the wrong dialogue option as I went to pick up fast flying and clicked the wrong NPC. I though I selected the riding trainer and just clicked on what I thought was the option to see training costs but I had picked the stable master standing next to that NPC and it was the option for having lost a pet.
No problem, just don’t learn it from the bag right? No. It bypasses that and automatically adds it and the companion pet tab to the sheet.
Is it world ending? No. Just mildly annoying. I don’t want to have any companion pets, just that one click quicker mount selection access back.
And since we are in classic there is no option to right click and cage or remove pets from the list.
I opened a ticket asking for that one pet to be removed almost a month ago (a week and a half before the launch of WoTLKC) and apparently GMs can’t help me get rid of it, pointing me to create a thread here to ask for it instead. So here we are.
I’m sure not many will care for such a feature but I would, and it would be a very small non-intrusive QoL change so please, help me get some traction for this very minor “issue” or point and laugh at this peak of first world problems.
