Hi, the Frost Mage pet’s skill bar gets rearranged every time i close and open the game, does this happen to you too? Is there a way to get the skills to stay saved where i want them like before?
I posted in the mage subforum but it seems dead, it may also happen with other classes that have pets
My pet bar on my hunter stays put. Its part of my profile i set up in edit mode.
Try going into edit mode, placing it where you want. Saving. Export the profile and just save that code somewhere. Then log out of that character. Do not alt f4 or camp.
When you log back in has it forgotten again?

When I change the abilities of the pet bar it doesn’t let me save anything in edit mode
My problem is that I want to save the skills in this order:

and every time I close the game and reopen it it automatically reorders like this:

I have asked a friend and the same thing happens to him, I don’t know if it is an intentional change by Blizzard or a bug
Ah i see, so moving the spells. Not tried that.
I would definitely file a bug report in game. Let the Devs know its not working.

Not having that issue with my pets (as a lock). So might just be the Mage pets.
It may only happen with the mage pet, hope they fix it soon if it is a bug, it makes me feel uncomfortable not having the buttons in the place i want

is the pet perm again or just a cd ?
It only comes with icy veins, its baked into the frost dps cd now. i think the problem lie there. Im just testing out something with it. Theres also talent that gives us icy veins as proc on rng and it also summon the pet.
i think if a cd the pet bar will reset always
I tested the ops described issue by remove every ability from its pet bar and the second time i used icy vein and it summoned the pet the skills i removed earlier are back now. So the game dont register the choises we make between icy veins summoned pets, it sees them as separate pet or something.
DisableAutoAddSpells seem to be temporary fix to get them saved how one want during game session but logging out brings them back again and you have to do it again 
I end up remove the pet bar from my mage entirely. I made this macro for icy veins/pet freeze and I imagine your wanting to see the freeze cd and have button to manage it this would do it. The button show icy veins when no pet and pets freeze when you have pet out with using icy veins.

Yea, we will definitely have to put the pet freeze somewhere else until they solve this bug, if it is a bug and not something intentional of course
